When I was in the army in 1965, in Germany, my dad sent me a watch. I had never owned one before so I was delighted. When I got home I found out that he would take any stopped watches from people if they didn't think the watch was worth repairing. His repair technique was pretty simple. He removed the back from the watch and filled it with lighter fluid, shook it around for a while and replaced the back. Worked pretty good.
I was part of your pre-order group. I was so happy when it came in sooner than expected! I just wanted to let you know that your product is an absolute game changer! I've used it for about 20 washes and it's holding up great. I would highly recommend this to anyone that cleans and restores watches. I alternate 10 cranks clockwise and 10 counter-clockwise for about 5 minutes. I also have a separate jar for the spinoff. The case cushion is nice too. I absolutely love this thing! Thank you for this product! PS. I have that same ultrasonic cleaner 🤣.
@Marking-Time with the one I received being part of the first run, it did come with some minor flaws. Nothing that couldn't be adjusted or swapped out. The basket assembly was loose on the post and the hole for the screw wasn't quite centered, and the jar sent is branded. Only issue with that is Ball pint jars seem to taper inward slightly toward the bottom creating a very tight fit for the basket and it rubs against the jar. Again, definitely not a deal breaker and I'm certain that future runs will only get better. I have shared your product to multiple watchmaker and hobbyist forums and groups. From one veteran to another, I wish you nothing but success.
Youve already marketing yourself better than another micro-cleaner option others may have seen online. The accessibility of this cleaner setup opens the hobby to people that may not have the space for a proper cleaner and a tight budget.
This looks great. Congrats on getting your business off the ground. Your solution reminds me of a manual malt grinder called a "Phil Mill." It was built by a guy named Phil to serve the beer homebrewing community that could not afford the very expensive electric grain mills. He had a fully manual design but, over time, changed the end of the main horizontal rod to fit a drill bit. This took his manual design to electric without any real increase in price. I still own it! Just an idea that I don't think would change your patent. I love any invention that reduces the cost of a fun and worthwhile hobby. Thanks for this!
That's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing that could be a deal breaker for me is when the Swiss chars here use a totally different standard ... which they might
Yeah, I have tested a couple different jars for my EU customers. Haven’t found anything yet but I’m looking into Le Parfait jars. They may work but are a little pricey unfortunately
@@Marking-Time Very cool, thank you. I see you think ahead! I was just wondering if it would be possible to clean the case of a small vintage watch. What is the diameter and the height of the big basket?
@@tedblack2415 I’m working on that. I might have a solution. I have an Italian jar coming to the house that I’m going to test. Might be a an option. Also in talks with Cousins ;)

ok I see. It only comes with the basic jar attached as a complete set. The shipping would get too expensive to supply extra jars so I just recommend buying extra jars on your own. They are super cheap, thanks for your business!
@@Marking-Time I and many others are willing to pay more for non China made goods. I wonder if the folks making your cleaner will knock it off and sell it on Ali B sooner than later?
