Dude, why did you not use dry ice...it would be a much easier solution to cleaning and getting rid of rust.
This was filmed maybe 2 or 3 years ago, dry ice was not really popular at this time.
I'm thinking about starting a moble dry ice detailing company. I fully agree dry ice the whole car..
@@SentenzaSenpai 3 years ago???
Dry ice wasn't really mainstream when he rebuilt this car, the car already runs and drives and these videos are almost 3 years old.
@@papawpaul So you want him to take apart the whole car again? This is old footage, the car already runs and drives.
8:30 you need Freddy’s dry ice blaster. Looks tedious!
Dry ice would save the parts from all those small scratches 😳 agree with you on that #Ttimmy
Too late for that, the car already runs and drives, these videos are at least 2 years old.
You would need a sand blaster for all that rust😅
@@XRP-all-to-the-max he's also removed the protective layer from the aluminium, now it will oxidise much more easily.
One of the most underrated rebuild
In what way is a Bugatti considered underrated….
@@ericpeterson541I’m pretty sure he means that this rebuild is not getting the attention on UA-cam that it deserves.

The editor is better than the previous one
Huston is one of the realest person taking from a point, even though his a rich man he humbly work on his own cars and do things what he love instead he could just pay and see others do it. Massive respect
I really like your format here. Simple. No over the top hype. Interesting. You don't hype any drama. Keep this up!
This is the best video in the series yet!
So happy to see this video posted! Cheers!!!
So when I do powder coating for brake calipers,I put pieces of MDF wood in sections, then low pressure compressed air into the brake lines. The pistons will come out evenly without marring of a screw driver. Remove one piece of MDF wood at a time as the pistons come out. The wood helps prevent the pistons from coming out unevenly and also from flying out.
I'm so impressed. These are the first videos of yours I've watched. When I started, I expected something like Schmee where he doesn't do anything mechanical and always "takes it to a pro." I didn't realize you were a serious mechanic and clearly qualified (with the help of a good team) to be working on a car that I bet only a handful of people in the world are qualified to work on.
It’s also like his 4th or 5th veyron… and he’s torn them all down before. I’d say he’s qualified to work on them… welcome to royalty! You should go back in time and see all the wrecked exotics he goes and picks up after renters crash them. That’s what he’s probably most famous for. Or being arrested driving the mansory veyron while “impeding traffic” back when his first UA-cam video with Damon from DDE.
Shmee is total ass
Shmee is the worst content creator grown man with teddy cows
He is literally surrounded by mechanics that he pays. They will for sure be leading these conversations off camera.
not a handfull of people. little bit more then that i can tell you. As an official bugatti technician at a bugatti dealership you never aloud to do this kind of repairs.
It blows my mind just to see how you’re and your team putting it together!!
Loving this series, you have got some big balls taking this on but think it's the best content I've seen on this channel. Keep up the work, can't wait to see this fire up
Man, pull those valve covers off and get some assembly lube/ pre-lube on the camshafts and timing components! It's been sitting for 12+ years I wouldn't want anything inside there starting up with no lubrication on it after sitting for SO LONG and hurting something.
Just a thought. I absolutely love how thorough you guys have been!
Love the content keep up the good content
Can’t wait to see the whole car in action! A true one of one Bugatti
I’m sure Andy gets paid well but that guy deserves what ever new vehicle he wants. The amount of knowledge and time is insane and probably a great employee
What I really like is, Houston isn't afraid to get in and get his hands dirty, learn, etc. If these guys can tear down a Bugatti, I can motor swap a Subaru. Lol!!
The vlogg we all wanted ❤❤
I swear houston buys all the good shit.. and tools and equipment that just makes everything easier. Its how u keep ppl enjoying the automotive work
Cleaning up the engine and transmission wasn't done with the best method at all. Almost DIY style
Love this series. Dream project!
That's the craziest looking flexplate/relucter ring I've ever seen.
I know you had the idea of shopping the series to different TV channels, but really glad it stayed on UA-cam.
Don't listen to the hating comments. Not all of us always comment something but we do always appreciate you and the team.
Keep up the great work. 🫶🏽
How does this channel not have 3 million subs. 😮💨
Remember when you guys changed the oil in house an the car world went crazy ...now look at ya.. Houston for President.
Epic build Houston
try dry ice to clean it will look much better
Enjoyed watching this!
Fantastic editing. The Royalty logo transitions were epic.
Love this project, thank you for sharing it with all of us
That diff looked amazing.
Mad respect for this project 💪
Getting there guys build is looking🔥🔥
For those recomending to do Dry Ice Blasting, the car is already assembled, runs and drives, when Houston started this rebuild Dry Ice wasn't mainstream like it is now, if he was doing the rebuild now he would've used it, these videos are at least 2 to 3 years old.
Except he is using a dry ice blaster at the end of the video.
Nice work 🎉
No bullshit here Houston is as real as it gets
Love this series always left waiting for the next episode like the Pablo escobar meme
Seeing this car get back together is super satisfying !!!!!!!!!! A HUGE CONGRATS to the BUGATTI TEAM for building this MASTERPIECE - HOUSTON , WHAT A W!!!!!!!!!!
Houston mad man for this project
Love this dude, man of challenges!
Its the year 2061 bugatti build episode 4053 has just been posted 😂
This is cool! Everything is so expensive on this car
Houston Crosta Awesome Video I'm glad you cleaned up alot of your Flooded Veyrons Parts and I think those Purple Body Panels look absolutely gorgeous and I think you try Dry icing the Fly Wheel and I can't wait to see the next build update and I hope that Gear Box issue gets resolved
Thanks for sharing... Keep up your awesomeness...!
I can’t wait to see next episode xx
W
very good content here
By the time this thing is finished it will be a $4m car 20 years old but brand new.
God I love this rebuild! 😅
Coming together man! Gonna be sick!
the keyfob looks like an older vw key
It is that’s why
he had better bought a VW key then
@@nathanthomson777
This video edit is great 100% watched it all
Can you tell us how many parts there are til the series is concluded?
the only 20 minutes that is tight is this video :)
Love the videos
i love watching guys who dont do car repair for a living , do work like this , u could clean that flywheel flexplate very easily without damaging the machine seal surface
Yessssssss been waiting for this!!! Lets goooo.
Just glad to see these rebuild videos again
We can now see light at the end of the tunnel guys 👍😉💪
Great viewing ! unique opportunity
Belta episode keep them coming 😊
1Mil subs soon. NICE!
Houston… bro. DRY ICE BLASTING.
sick video, cool edit, unique content
Dry ice blast cleaning comes to mind. But still impressed!
Let's #gooooooooooooooo🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋
when Andy was said he was taking apart the rear brakes I was shocked lol. Shows just how big the calipers on that car are.
Love from India,
Damn I was waiting for the ep
Some amazing content in the car world. Mat Armstrong with 720s. Freddy with p1 now bugatti
woooow next friday cant wait
While I love tavarish and his capabilities, you were definitely the one I wanted to see restore that p1. Legendary bro. ❤❤❤ Love from South Africa
Instead, off brushing the engine I would Maby Sandblasted, Water blasted, ore like Tavarish and used ice blasting. Love to watch the series! I know the car is done but I think it would look even nicer white one of these metates.
You should look into dry ice blasting to clean all of the engine and other dirty parts.
I love how Houston gets his hands dirty working on cars and is very knowledgeable about them too.. unlike Damon dde😂😂 and dave😂😂
I Love this seriesi
Everyone give andy a hand for his work here. The guy has to be the only man ouside of Bugatti that has done this!
that colour is gonna make this veyron look insane
Thought you had forgotten about us 😅 can't wait to see the finished Bugatti
Yea Houston yall should have definitely dry iced everything it would make it look new againg without damaging a single part!!!!
Colour is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I get the feeling that andy does aaalllllll the work 😂. This should be Andy's channel.
9:19 HOLY COW that thing is massive
They make a rubberized adhesive sheet for sandblasting. You can use it shield what you don't want blasted. It's usually used to sandblast redwood signs.
I know it's been gone for a few years, but its crazy seeing the rwb on the lift
Vapor honing may be a perfect idea for your restoration projects.
The straight, emotionless look on Andy’s face anytime Houston is saying how these different week long projects on the car should be done within a couple hours.. lmaoooooo
Yesss
All the parts that come off the Bugatti that are unusable would be cool if subscribers could get those to hang on their wall I would love those rusty Bugatti brake pads😁
how watch your video 😊
Now
What is bro yapping about
I really enjoy your videos l did a car with corrosion like you are dealing with and found a guy who does dry ice blasting and makes aluminum and plastic look new.
These videos needs more views I swear
They'd have them if they weren't so boring.
less talking and more work. Good job, keep it up
finally
Sooooo close!
Andy is clearly the one with the skills and who does most all the work.
The labor costs alone would make it worth buying a dry ice blaster. Especially with all the projects like this that you do or may do in the future. You couldn't pay me enough to do that with a Dremel
when i did my salt water flood rebuild i acually soaked the alum parts in CLR from lowes and then i also used a salt off wash the stuff people use on boats to stop the effects of corrosion
I wish you guys would have just dry-ice blasted everything instead of using a wire brush. It would have looked clean and naturally aged. Anyway doesn't matter it's still amazing what you guys have done. It's crazy to think this has been done for years but we didn't know about it.
Gateway module is the first thing the obd dongle will see. It translates the language of all the modules to the obd port basically. Bugatti uses a lot of VW parts since VW owns them
You need to do the dry ice blasting it cleans aluminum up like brand new and everything else I don't know if they have it around you but there's other UA-cam channels that have used it Man it's amazing!
Looks like they are using that in the next episode
Spoiler alert, the car already runs and drives, too late to do that, these videos are old.
Love that Porsche
🔥🔥🔥
tnx forthevideo
