Looking Nice! Great development. If I was to guess, I would say that the tank is not enough to sustain a mandarine fish. However, it looks healthy and well fed. Congrats on that.🙂👍
Thanks, I think if it was a wild caught mandarin then yeah this tank isn't enough. With him being captive bred, he takes to frozen foods very well already
@@greenmachinesweden yeah all the fish in my reef are captive bred, except the tail spot blenny. Aquaculture is getting huge, I got my mandarin and Gramma from The Biota Group, they are making great headway for the future, right now they are breeding yellow tangs, hippo tangs, Angels, mandarins, grammas, and many more. Not just gobies and clownfish these days
Hey thanks for commenting! That's awesome to hear, Ivanacara are awesome fish, I kept my breeding pair in soft water, DKH was 1, TDS was kept in the 30-60 ppm range. It was going really well, I got a lot of spawning action from the pair But I didn't have time to raise the fry like I wanted, and l I sold them to another hobbyist. I still have one of my spare males in a community cichlid tank

@@atkinsnatureaquariums3552 Ahh. I had no idea that they can breed mandarine nowadays. Been away for the hobby for too long. Then it makes sense.
