lure n fly expo is awesome. been a few times but missed this year. defiantly there r hidden gems if u look outside the box at the expo. growing up on 10km of the richmond river frontage n using home made bass lures, still floats my boat. luv me some timber for bass n jollip r those lures. jollip makes his jew lure called the cunji in a few sizes the biggest is 230. but i use the 145 n 190 in the rivers for cod n they catch. i know Fletty well wen he lived in inverell n yes he is/was mudeye. still have some protypes of some different models bak in the day n still catch gud river cod on them. i dont use them often. over 15 years ago he did leave inverell n i lost contact but i heard he was bak making lures so thx for the info mate. bak then Fletty n Martels where the gurus of the 3 cod rivers n copeton n pindara.
Good info there mate, very interesting. They’re is some gems out there. Very pleased with a couple I got and looking forward to going back next year to find more
Hey mate looking at getting the Daiwa 23 TD Hyper rod seen bcf have used you as an example how do you rate the rod looking to get is it it much good for throwing bigger lures
