Oh my god finally, UA-cam reccomending me small creators, and this is pretty good. Love the low volume, really contrasts like every MC UA-camr going right now, and it gives you a certain vibe. Love it, keep doing what you're doing!
I'm not sure how much you care about your entrance to the mine being aesthetically pleasing, but if you place a redstone torch underneath the block you place the powered rails on it can look much cleaner.
I didn't realize this. Not too big a concern for the mine entrance, where I'd like to just 'skip' to the bottom, but elsewhere, like once I do some rails to move around the base/overworld, that'll be good to do! Thanks for letting me know. :3

you can find honey in forests on trees. you can also grow oak and birch saplings next to a flower for a chance of growing a tree with a beehive on it. whenever you do get a hive put a campfire under it to make the bees docile.

I was trying to play minecraft an hour ago but then a drowned killed me when i was trying to loot a shipwreck so then i gave up and drank beer.
