This Ebonite Polaris Hybrid looks awesome. Love the color combo. I've only had two Ebonite bowling balls and they were the Earl Anthony Magnum 7 (shiny rubber) and the Earl Anthony Magnum 12 (urethane). So my favorite is the Mag 12. Keep up the good work Mr. Raymond
The last Ebonite ball I had in my bag was the Verdict. It worked for a months, then kinda wasn't as responsive with the pins. I like the LOOKS, and the way it rolls. Thanks for videos, JR !

My favorite ebonite ever was the original choice, but I agree on the One, and also the original Gamebreaker, I Seen alot of people shoot high scores with that one back in the day

Wow that looks great JR keep that thumb in a holster on your hip. The new numbers definitely look good on you. The lane length and surface is perfect then add your execution and boom magic.
I know not many people had one but I loved my Ebonite Raid with a weight hole on the PAP. Was money for me.
My all time favorite Ebonite ball by far, is the original Game Breaker, which I STILL use regularly to this day. Ball is like a cheat code. Fifteen years old, with easily over a thousand games on it. Never resurfaced and only de-oiled once a year. Ball is in great shape and still has plenty of life in it. Extremely versatile on so many patterns I've bowled on over the years. My only regret is not buying a second one back then.
that's amazing, I have to de-oil all my solids and hybrids in a hot bucket of soapy water after every session or they die.
@@machinethesun9243 I swear this ball could go another thousand games if it wanted. Ridiculous longevity. My sport shot league I bring a few other balls with it, but my house shot league it's the only ball I bring. I can use it all three games no problem. A good portion of my arsenal actually consists of pieces from the 2000's. So many good balls from that era that can still hold their own.
My all time favorite Ebonite ball is The TPC Warrior from 2002. I shot my first 800 series and my first 2, (300) games with that ball. Its actually my all time any brand bowling ball.
I can't speak to this ball, but I have the regular ebonite Polaris, and it is a stellar bowling ball. Hits the pins like a truck
The original Mission was my favorite Ebi ball.

My favorite is the game breaker , bowled my best series ever , then I got the new envision drilled same as my game breaker an my average jump 20 pins an I just started this year with it . I feel before year is over I beat my high from game breaker . It’s my new one !

Favorite Ebonite ball, ever, Turbo X (Reactive Resin)
I loved that ball!
The interesting part is that your 2 layouts, from a core dynamic standpoint, are nearly identical. Since the PSA is the high RG of the ball (Y Axis) its strongest position is 3 3/8 from your pap. Your old 45x4.5x45 layout and the new 25x4.5x45 layouts, despite the 20 degree difference, both orient the PSA .5 inches away from the 3 3/8 'leverage' point, just in opposite directions. 45x4.5x45 = 3.91" PSA to PAP and 25x4.5x45 = 2.87" PSA to PAP.
The difference you're seeing on lane, is likely caused by axis migration across the pin to spin line, altering the ratio of flare in the dry vs in the oil. Basically, the migration path is getting closer to the pin as teh ball travels down lane, which is the 'continuation' you're seeing. In one of your next videos, you should put a piece of tape directly on the Pin, and see where the top of the core is as the ball goes through the pins/off the lane. Then do the same thing with one of your old 45 degree layouts, and compare them side by side. (Both need to be Asym obviously, and similar strength core/cover if at all possible) But a cool experiment either way.
You work the proshop, you could even get the armadillo and measure the axis migration if you really wanted to. Pap at release, pap at last wet flare, and pap at final dry flare. Connect the dots, measure between them, and document their relation to the core/pin.

Warrior Elite was my favorite.

Picked this ball up and averaged 10+ pts above my previous league average for several games. Last night went to league and threw it and threw 2 of my lowest games since I started back bowling (several months). I was furious/frustrated because I don't know what I was doing wrong - the stupid thing just wouldn't hook! I ended up switching to my Hammer Raw entry level ball and had more success with that last night. Still bowled pretty terribly all night.
Any ideas, anyone? Why would this happen? Same oil pattern every week (supposedly). It just *wouldn't* hook. I was missing my mark a lot too, which is probably at least half of it. When I was missing I'd hit brooklyn a lot of the time, but when I *did* hit it, it'd slide way too far down lane and never really hook much, making me come in super light or even missing the pocket to the right (right-handed). It was befuddling and so, so frustrating to me!
I was standing around 20-25, and shooting around 4-8 (moving around). Maybe I should try moving further left and shooting further left?

I’m not sure about the best hybrid ever cause that Columbia Speed, Aero Dynamix and even the new Reality Check are really good hybrids as well. Of course there are plenty of other great hybrids out there as well
