This is wholesome. A bunch of toddlers happily watching you give birth without disgust or fear. I'm sure they will all be amazing and supportive people in the future🥺
I love how their brain is not conditioned to perceive birth as "eeewww"
The way scout kept giving you hugs and kisses throughout your labour really has my heart
shes my best little girl friend thats for sure! love them all so much
@@EllenFisher She surely is, I wish you and your family a happy life
Congratulations 🎉 May God always 💕 bless your 💞 family health wealth and safety 🤞 good luck . Now Father should stop thinking to go for the next birth and taking or giving you more responsibilities . It's enough
I'm in tears! So much love in that child. Clearly raised beautifully!

Omg the moment after you tell Scout she has a sister and she cradled your face, what a little LOVE! Made me cry. Congratulations everyone
I'M BALLING!!! 😭😭😭 What a precious moment!! 💖
Sobbing at that moment❤️
😭😭😭😭😭😍😍😍😍
Mee too!!! incredible this feeling!
yes same, crying my eyes out!
The pain face turned INSTANT smile as the baby was born is all I needed to know that I can do this in February. I can do this.
You can do it! I’m also due in February and in tears watching this right niw
@@lilyandrews3239 Congratulations!! We got this
You both got this!! I just gave birth in September & that was the same facial reaction I had as well 🥲🥹
Congratulations guys, take every moment in 💞
You can do this!!!
Warm water is so soothing!
As a student midwife, seeing this video made me so emotional. Every day I see and hear of women not being given enough choices on how they want to welcome their newborns into the world. Some don't even get to choose which position to birth in. They lay on their back, in pain, with their adrenaline through the roof making it 10x worst for them. Some leave with traumas and scars for life and it pains me to see that. As a student, there is only so much I can do to support those women. Seeing you give birth in the most beautiful and heartwarming way is so inspiring to me. This is what I would like for my women to feel like. I want to teach them that birth is not something to be feared but to be welcomed instead. Labor, if approached correctly can feel joyful, orgasmic, and blissful. I will definitely be signing up to your course to learn more about your approach. it is so inspiring!
I'm glad you showed this because I've seen women giving birth where they had their legs stretched wide apart their knees are up to their chin and it just looks so horrific me I thought there must be a better more natural way of doing that
The medical system for birth is built the wrong way. Instead of supporting women during pregnancy and birth (and postpartum), women are put into uncomfortable positions and choices and told that's the way it has to be done. Informed consent is thrown out the window and the number of women having traumatic births is so high! My first was a beautiful homebirth after watching Ellen and others for so long and really educating myself on what is best for me and what's in the interest of the medical system. I'm pregnant now with my second and having another homebirth. It's the best way ❤️
@@ilovejulie89 Also pregnancy, how childbirth occur , miscarriage, Post natal care are not openluly talked in society but related rumors n myths are talked instead

Your daughter, Scout, is such a empathetic and compassionate little girl. So thoughtful and caring.
Indeed! Every moment of this family is full of love, support and tenderness! ❤
Ezt azért nem kellene a gyerekeknek látni.
I love how much Ellen loves motherhood. You can tell she really pours her heart and soul into her family . Her energy exudes even through the screen, and it’s why I have watched this channel all these years❤
awe wow thats so kind of you to say 😭
Agree.. ❤
Yes. Me too....

Agree very inspirational ❤️
First of all, that baby girl is taking CARE of her mommy, ok! All those cute hugs and kisses. Shooing any flies away from her mommy's face. She's such a sweetheart 💕
Did you see that?!!! How cute 🥰 girls are so sweet
"Gentle" and "easy" were words I never associated with birth until I found your channel. It is comforting to see that birth doesn't have to be an everlasting trauma.
So glad you can find wonderful women like ellen who can help you feel and understand how beautiful birth is.
Most of the time mindset plays a key part and most women forget to have an open mind to birth and how we can change our atmosphere to our liking either it’s before or during or after the birth in any situation. 🥰🙌🏻
Please trust this, listen to her, as a midwife I promise this is the way. I’m also a vegan mama of 5, we are fully cable off this work.
Yo pensé exactamente lo mismo, una esta acostumbrada a ver solo tormento. 👌
My first birth was also traumatic but after Releasing my fears through the tapping method, via Ellen’s channel, and reading a book called supernatural child birth, I had a pain free home birth🎉
My next child I plan to get her birth course and video my birth. This really works!❤
I had a pain free third birth - a scheduled C-section! It was amazing. 🙂
Scout during this whole video has made me well up so much. All the children show love and care towards their lovely mum but there is just something about the way she was constantly checking on Ellen and giving her hugs has really hit me. It’s such a beautiful video. Congratulations to your whole family ❤
It was so amazing to see! If Scout chooses to have children she'll be so lucky to have this experience. Birth is beautiful.
The fact Scout was right about the baby being a girl and how comforting she was during the birth, she’s going to be an amazing big sister 💛 congratulations you guys
I never comment and I’m usually a silent viewer, but I just wanna acknowledge how special of a kiddo Scout is. She is absolutely one of the most empathetic and caring children i’ve ever seen. She’s gonna be an amazing big sister and amazing person in general. She’s so precious, Ellen 🥹
I delivered my last daughter myself after an awful hospital experience, doing it at home is such an amazing experience you just can’t believe the difference until you do it. I’m 36 weeks pregnant now and plan to have my baby at home with my husband and daughters, regardless of how many of these videos I see I can’t help but cry every time I watch them- you have a beautiful family ❤
Hi, did you free birth or have a midwife? I didn't like my hospital experience and just want to do it at home but I also don't want a midwife there either lol
I’m crying. This was the most beautiful birth video I’ve seen. Scout knew it and her sweet little smile and tears were perfectly precious! So happy for your family.
❤️
Yes most beautiful home birth I’m in tears 😭 t
Baby got blue... feets. 😑
Me too! ❤
Im sitting overhear 2 months pregnant balling my eyes out
And that's how you normalise birth. Your kids will not be worried to either give birth one day or become a father. As a midwife this makes me incredibly happy. Sending lots of love

@@jaderobson-glyde555 yeah it's been done billions of times
Well, there you have it....all hospital births cause multi-generational PTSD. If we don't fix this....Margaret Atwood's best selling novel could become a reality.🙄🙄
I mean, I feel like I did my 2 year old a favor not having her at my birth. My baby was OP and there was a lot of screaming. Still a normal birth, mind you. But my girl would have been terrified lol
As "a midwife" I expect you to understand that there are numerous birth scenarios that REQUIRE medical intervention to result in a LIVING mother AND baby. ALL are quality births. A hundred years ago women like me would have died trying to have "a normal birth". Thank GOD for C-sections.
The fact that she did not know the gender of the baby and held her with so much love from the moment she gave birth to her is just so beautiful❤❤ It feels so much more natural to do it this way
why would she not hold the baby with love if she knew the gender?
@@FruityHachi I think they were just implying that it was so sweet that she didn’t immediately look to see bc in the moment it didn’t matter!
@@mitchellgrace2886 that’s a natural reaction, the mother and the child need to bond immediately, it’s the doctors who are messing with that
and unless the parents specifically want a boy or a girl, the gender doesn’t matter, so getting oxytocin from holding the baby takes precedence
My god...she did it all on her own without any help. What a brave, strong and wonderful woman. Congrats.❤️❤️
After the second time you kind of get the hang of it 😅
At first I was like “she’s letting her kids watch?!” Then I saw all of them look in amazement at their new sibling and was wow that was so beautiful. The most beautiful video I have ever seen. Seriously. great job momma. Congrats!
I honestly have never even considered the thought of having my children watch me give birth. But when I watched this video and say how incredibly beautiful it was…I’m seriously reconsidering. One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen
I wish it was more normalized for other children to watch, it's so beautiful and it's natural. great job mama!
it’s beautiful but I would have been so annoyed with so many people surrounding me and touching me 😭
@@helllllloworldthey all seem to be precious kids though. They didn't stress her and the little girl in particular was such a supportive daughter 🥺
What's wrong with letting your kids watch a natural process such as birth?
I admire this woman so much. I don't have kids, but I absolutely adore how much you are changing the paradigm on giving birth. I just think how lucky your kids are to see an example of such strong, female empowerment! Your little girl won't be afraid to give birth. Congratulations!
Girls* she's got two now!
But it is the fifth birth. That would be abnormal if it were heavy, and it was heavy enough. 🙂👍👍
Right!!!! I just imagine how her boys will be so well equipped knowing how to support and serve their wives/partners if they go through pregnancy and birth too.
@@thetruthwillsetyoufree5567 True but the one that was just born didn't witness the birth, so to speak. Maybe they will have another and she will! :)
@@funnyjcutie I fully expect they will have another.
This was truly so beautiful Ellen. I cried with you guys when you realized it was a girl. Oh my gosh. Thank you for sharing such a special, intimate moment with us. She is absolutely perfect. You did such a good job mama. 💗🥺
it was the best moment! I was so happy for Scout!
@EllenFisher , does this new princess have a name?
Edit: Dagny is very sweet. What a unique name
The look on Scout's face when she realized she had a sister is quite possibily the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
Scout knew all along it was a girl. Notice she said "finally" I get to hold you? So seeet 💕
The way she beamed with pride when she said, “This is my first time holding baby standing up,” was just precious.
Getting to know that birthing is “gentle” and “feels good” is so relieving to know as a girl just relieves me and just tells me that I shouldn’t be worried about it
This empowered me SO much. I’m pregnant with my 3rd child. The first was an epidural, vaginal birth with tearing. The second was an emergency c-section. But the 3rd I’m taking a completely different route with an at home birth and a midwife. I’m so so so motivated and hopeful i can have a natural birth! I LOVED this. Thank you for sharing this. 🥲🥲🥲
Good luck mommy ❤️🤞🏽🥹
I'm going through the same love to hear how it goes i have 48 days left
You got this. It’s will be a beautiful experience! 🙏
I am wishing you the best of luck with your home birth with a midwife!!! As a kid with a doctor mom i think it will always be assumed that I will have my kiddo in a hospital but I think i wanna do it at home with a midwife (who I think are kinda more qualified than most doctors to help with childbirth tbh). You are a superstar!
Did your baby arrive ok? X
This was so powerful 😍 it made me realize the power of raising little girls, I have 3, and it always seems people focus on the fact that we haven’t had a boy yet. Just look at Scout and how she cared for you, even at such a young age. Women are so powerful, so amazing and have such a strong role that I see it more everyday. The moment Scout realized it was a girl, so beautiful, I bawled.
I swear she came out smiling. And what a wonderful support Scout was during the birth 🥰🥰🥰
she truly is amazing. thanks for the love!
Yeap I catched that too. 😍
I just had a conversation with my husband two days ago saying I missed my labor and delivery experience and couldn’t wait to do it again. This type of birth is exactly why. We’ve always wanted 5 kids. I’m 10 days shy of 6months postpartum with our second child. My labor and delivery was so quick and AMAZING! I’ve been watching you since I was a teenager. I’m now 26years old. You’ve inspired me to study and prepare for labor and delivery initially in order to become a nurse midwife and doula. But this time it paid off for my own birth. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us and changing the way we view birth. I can’t wait to experience this again.
Let's take a moment to appreciate how this turned out to be a family event rather than too private. Im scared but then watching this made me wanna embrace that journey positively.....
Yeah and in olden days or medieval time close family members like mother, sister or a child of that pregnant woman used to be with her to motivated n calm her during delivery
Even In animals in wild, females give birth surrounded by her children (cubs) and other female associates of animal pack, they cheer her, calm her, guide her, and motivate her to go thru labor
ChildBirth is treated as an auspicious event and birth of new life is happy thing for animals except humans, cos humans have far sexualised n put in bad light pure events like even labor n delivery or birth of new baby , and many doctors or nurses today behave abusively with mothers n infants lol and in olden days this abuse was there too, but that's the fact, Pure 'Childbirth' is viewed in a bad sense only by humans, cos they evolved into societies but somewhat wrongly n away from nature

I have had 7 children and the best advice I can give is breathe deeply. When the contraction comes you will feel like holding your breath, but just breathe through it.
I feel like my body gets frozen rigid and I can never take an actual deep breath even though I’ve done natural twice. How do I break through that for my third come
April?
@@Warefamily2024 my tips are to sigh, and with each sigh, release tension somewhere in your body- shoulders, jaw, back, belly, bottom. When you tense up, your breaths get more shallow. Once you start sighing and releasing tension, then you can slow your breathing and breathe deeper.
I think you know how much a family means to you when you watch Ellen share her pregnancy and birth. I cried when scout found out she had a little sister! So happy for you, I’ve been watching since Elvis was a little boy and I’m so happy to watch your family grow. Congratulations 🎉🎈💘

This is the most beautiful birthing experience I've ever had the honor of witnessing. The family all around, loving on mom. The deep love between mom and dad being expressed. The little girl showing her love and support to mom. The purest love pouring out from everyone. The children holding their new sister. I will forever remember and cherish this amazing moment. Oh my God, i'm crying my eyes out! That’s just it, that's the magic that you can't get in a c-section (i had two). Watching this video i can't stop looking at your kids and thinking that when they grow up they will truly want to be parents and live the same experience! You're incredible mama!!!
Done like a goddess! This is the real promise of giving birth, right here. Not the fear porn women are fed. Even when birthing is VERY hard (can anyone relate!?) we women have the opportunity to feel like, and literally be, superwomen. THANK YOU Ellen for yet again being vulnerable to show us the beauty of these moments!

Wow, the way your daughter kept comforting you was the most beautiful feminine and masculine balanced force I have ever felt and seen for support.... That truly touched my heart

Ellen I just wanted to say thank you. Before I found your channel and saw the love in your family, I wanted to be sterilized when I turned 18. I was 15 and looking up ways to talk doctors into it, thinking ‘Why should I bring a child into this world? So many other children need homes, I’d rather adopt. I’d rather die than be pregnant.’
But I found your channel during Scout’s pregnancy and you showed something so different to what I’d always known pregnancy, birth, and having children to be. It wasn’t contractions.. it was waves. It wasn’t pregnancy the state of feeling huge, ‘like a whale’, sickly, it was bringing a new life into the world. It wasn’t a parasite, it was getting to meet your baby at the end of the day. It wasn’t a live or death battle with pain and your own body, it was embracing yourself in its most powerful, ancient state. Giving birth to a new life.
It’s so profound to me now, so sacred and so beautiful.
You’ve changed me Ellen, and I seriously can’t thank you enough. Please continue to teach other women the value of family and that having children is not the bane of existence it is portrayed to be nowadays. That family is worth fighting for and we would be lost without it. ❤

I freebirthed both my babies, and it is a desicion that I am grateful to have made every single day.
I grieve deeply for the women who get pushed into unnatural and traumatic birth situations.. it's incredibly unfair, and I just wish for all women to remember how natural this is, and that it is HER power, to reclaim and to ride out on her terms. It bring me peace to see someone so wise and experienced to be guiding others through this sacred passage of bringing the next generations earthside. ♥︎
I’ve never seen a baby look this comfortable in their environment, this baby knows so much love. I’m not going to let give me baby fever bye 😭

Hi mama's out there who, like me, had births that weren't like this one. Please know you also did an incredible incredible job
The most important part is that you get your baby safe and sound, and sometimes home births can risk that. There is no OR down the hall, or a blood bank etc. Home birth is a personal choice, but you are taking a risk.
@@bettysmith4527 Many times, hospitals and their protocols are far more dangerous than home birth. They are necessary sometimes, but that is a very, very small percentage. Homebirth is statistically less risky than hospital birth. Watch "The Business of Being Born." It will start to show you the truth.
@@hanab837 ok, just watch some videos about home births gone wrong, especially the ones that have resulted in the death of the baby secondary to shoulder dystocia and other issues!
@@bettysmith4527 babies die in hospital too. Birth is a risk period. This is why having an educated midwife there is important.
My first was 10lb 4oz baby at home. Big head as well! 9.5 hours of pushing and 2 episiotomies later and he came. Yes, it was painful but totally worth it. I had a hospital birth with my second. It was very traumatic because of the way me and my baby was treated. Wish I could go back and have her at home. Moral is, you are right. w

I watched all your birth stories and I’m so happy for all of you, particularly Scout having the little sister she so wanted. I’m an only girl with brothers and I so wanted a sister but that wasn’t to be. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful experience 💚
I’ve had the privilege of being at many births and they were all wonderful but this is absolutely the most beautiful birth I’ve ever seen. Everyone looks so completely elated and you can feel the love through the camera. Congratulations ❤
I've seen your last three home births and while each one was beautiful, seeing Scout tear up over having a baby sister made me cry happy tears. Congratulations to your wonderful, loving family!
Scout is such a loving girl😭🥹❤️ all of your children are so caring and so incredibly sweet! You guys are amazing parents!❤️
This made me cry. You have such a wholesome, loving, beautiful family. I wish everyone could be blessed with such a wonderful home life. Thank you for sharing.
This..."relax in the places you are most afraid to go to" so much more than birthing. Just watching this video shows how much giving up stress can do for you. 🙏❤️🙌✨
Literally bawling seeing scouts reaction. So beautiful
This brought me to tears 😢please young woman, do not be lead by fear, you too can do this! After three traumatic hospital births I stopped my family sooner than I wanted to. This is how birth is meant to be! God Bless your family ❤
@@karmiefen3464 Pray for your husband to have a change of heart, or to find a doctor that will be very low-intervention + support your desires/respect you in a hospital setting ✨ I hear of some women that keep having their babies at a hospital just because they found a doctor that respects them so! 💛
I’m not sure if it’s my hormones or what but I cried throughout this beautiful movie. It solidifies my decision of doing a home birth & brings me comfort that it’s possible to have a peaceful birthing experience.
Such a beautiful video, I got tears in my eyes, i am a paediatrician and I totally encourage this method of birth, no stress no hospital vibe, it is a sacred moment for parents and it needs to be so intimate like you did, congratulations 😊

I don't have any children yet but I've always thought that if I am ever blessed enough to have children I couldn't wait the whole nine months to find out if it's a boy or a girl. As soon as I know it's possible to find out, I'm just so impatient that I don't think I could wait any longer. But seeing your reactions in the moment that you found out that it was a girl honestly might have completely changed my mind now.
I waited each time I gave birth and it was so worth it.
I waited all three times and was glad I did. You only get a small handful of surprises in life and this is the best! People do these reveal parties now, its a trend I guess.
I think it helps when going through the birth to not know the gender, it keeps you going because you want to know what the baby is going to be and then you get the joy when you find out what it is when it's born.
I hate when people find out before, it takes away the surprise.
The only time I think it's better to know is if you have say 2 boys and are wanting a girl, then it's probably best to know before the birth so you don't feel dissapointed when the baby comes if it is another boy. It gives you time to adjust and realise you are never going to have a daughter so by the time the baby arrives you are over it and welcome your 3rd son or vice versa.
I mean most people have that big of a reaction when finding out during pregnancy. It’s just a personal preference thing.
I just love how sweet Scout was giving you hugs and kisses. So sweet!! 💕Congratulations!! She’s your newest daughter is perfect!!
Her daughter is so empathetic.. it’s so lovely to see
I love how empathetic your little girl is. She is going to grow up strong like her mama.
Thank you so much for sharing your birth experiences and lives through your beautiful and inspiring videos! i have had 4 traumatic hospital births that were non-elective due to ''protocol'' in the country i live in. i have been educating myself on vba4c as i am now 6 months into our 5th pregnancy, and feel so incredibly compelled to stand in my divine power as a wombyn and share this gift of creation that was bestowed upon us to bring life earthside.
Willing to do whatever it takes to have our baby at home safely with the right Midwife and perhaps doula. Growing with the flow! Much love beautiful souls!!!!
