OMGGGGGG I freaked out !!!!!!!!!!!! I love, love, love, the animation, I wasn't also the biggest fan of the animation style of season 4 & 5, but season 6 is mwahhh chef's kiss. These scenes thoughhhh, they are great, fantastic, I loved the second one, that was so action packed and loved that Rayla and Callum are on adventure together..working together, I also noticed Callum giving Rayla these type of looks, like romanceeee 😏😏😏😏😏 Amazing and so so so excited for this season !!! 🤭🤭

I’m so excited for the moonless night clip! A lot of people have been saying that the creature might be the child of Luna Tenebris, as they were deemed an “unsuitable heir” to the throne. Maybe they were corrupted by Aaravos in the past, and the rune Callum tells Rayla to carve on their heart is supposed to heal them. I’m just concerned because Devon said 605 is gonna break all of our hearts!

Seeing the shadowpaw reminded me of a very mean reference they made in episode 304. The moonstrider and the shadowpaw belong to Runaan and Ethari, respectively. In episode 304, the moonstrider, Runaan’s mount, got its soul sucked out and trapped in the snake, similar to the fate of Runaan himself. Idk why I thought of this but I felt the need to share it
They definitely need to kiss this season! At least once, I hope they don’t get separated again. I highly doubt though that they’ll kill Callum, but Aravos being the cause of their yet again separation sounds spot on for an end of season cliffhanger.

I have a theory for the 2nd clip with the giant creature that the creature has the nova blade cause callum doesn't have the bag and the baitling probably at the star scraper so they went out to find the creature to get the nova blade by carving rune into the gem thing on the creature 's collar
Oh my goodness, I'm seriously hyped for this season! I wish it could come quicker. Unfortunately I'm bedridden sick, but this did lighten up my day a bit. Couldn't pick a favorite scene, but I'm interested to see the full episode to them 😊

Also intrigued by the fact that just as Rayla's about to carve the rune on the heart she hesitates as though she's noticed something unusual about it. Maybe she notices the moon motif and realises they're fighting Luna Tenebris's unsuitable heir. One of the screenshots we've seen show Rayla appearing to talk to the behemoth so maybe that's her trying to reason with it.
Between this and the Shadowpaw getting soulfang-ed in season 3, I think it's safe to say the Dragon Prince team has a personal vendetta against Shadowpaws.

Did you notice in the first clip, when the shadow paw falls into the water, one of their bedrolls fall in too. So they only have one bedroll, if they make that joke again in season 3.
