Fantastic set up. Despite everyone else’s hate of bales we love them👌👌 Long silage that’s good for rumen health and that cows love. Less waste, more flexibility and no big clamp rotting if you have to open it. When ye have yere own gear it’s a no brained
Anyone else think that they should make this a farm on Farming Simulator 19. Especially for the ones that love to do mowing bailing and grass silage cuz fields look sweet Anyone else agree with me

How many head of cattle 🐮 do you guys feed during the winter ? ,also that’s an impressive stack of silage bales and it was truly amazing to watch evrery thing that you guys did !!!!!.
Great Video👍 Do you use knifes in the round baler to cut the Grass when you baling? I also run a McHale F5500 in Germany but only for 700 bales per year also on very sloping fields in the mountains. Do you ever had any issues with your baler?
@@sandersfarmvids ..Baler wrappers should be parked in sheds next to thrashers...A good loader driver with good dry cut bales should not be ripping bales...
MrButters1983 ease of use, suits the farm (we have some steepish difficult fields, put off by cost of clamp and effluent control and with bales we don’t need a fancy feed wagon and tractor to run it
Building a clamp, buying a feed wagon, running a tractor on it, buying a forager and trailers all going to add up. Some of our land is quite awkward and far away for a chopper
Sanders Farmvids but u can ran a combi loader weagon. Clear baling is easier but for my opinion thats too mutch plastic. And so many bales to open, with net too... and how du you feed them if you dont have any feed wagon? Sorry for my bad english i‘m from germany. Greetings
@@jorenhoitink5485 once they are wrapped in the yard, the bale is only handled once. if wrapped in field, put on trailer and taken off trailer, drastically increase the chances of putting holes in the plastic. only thing i disagree with is the soft hands they use after the wrapper. for being soft hands, they squeeze the living daylights out of those bales forming an air pocket in the plastic
Because they don't need to be such careful with the bales drawing them home from the field unwrapped saving time when loading and offloading the trailers

Exactly, a lot of people don’t get this. High butterfat in the milk with long fiber too. Our was nearly 5% this year
Finally two people who get me
In Norway its rare to see normal outside bunkers. You never see them eanywhere its bales or what i commented below
And If not in bales its in large round concrete vertical silos
Dropped a few acres there ,great video and beautiful scenery 👍
Nice video! Good looking valtra's, loads of different angles and loads of bales!! Good Job
I agree
Got dizzy at 4:52, great video, the only thing is you might need some more bales doesn’t look like you have a lot
It was a risky move, wasn’t sure the go pro would stay on!!
Great video the camera on the rowing up machine was class

Great video. Just wondering why not clamp it?
First class camera work and some very nice music.
Very nice camera shots!!
Thanks! Big fans of the bales as well I see!
Amazing video!!!
Now subs
Good job from Italy!!!
Great video and even better music spot on.
Yah me that would be awesome
How many acres do you farm and how many acres do you bale?
Great video enjoyed watching nuts the amount of silage bales clamp silage every time but everyone to there own
Is there a gofundme page for the poor sole who has to open that lot?

Dieses ganze Plastik... Ein Fahrsilo bräuchte deutlich weniger und ist noch dazu praktischer!

@Sanders Farmvids great video. The valtra going OK... Would you have renault in the past?
Loving the Valtra! Had a small Renault cergos once and a couple of Class Ares. Lovely comfy tractors had a few issues though 😁

Do you bale the whole cut in one go? Or take it out as its ready?
Tom Martin we did around 200 acres on our own farm first in one go then we go and do another block on a rented farm
excellent video

Jack Hume around 600 milkers and a fair few youngstock too!
Like wow guys, how long does it take you to milk that many head of milkers ? and thanks 🙏 for letting me know how many milkers you have! .
Depends on a few things at different times of year but usually 3 1/2 hrs

I also run a McHale F5500 in Germany but only for 700 bales per year also on very sloping fields in the mountains. Do you ever had any issues with your baler?
Yes, we chop all the bales we make. The baler belongs to a contractor who does 20,000 bales a year and has no complaints with it
How many bales do you make? The foil salesman must love you 😀
Mariusz B we have been known to do around 5 thousand
Brill video good music and no talking
This is the assac same on what I had to do on farming sim yesterday
Why is this so mesmerising
Did ye ever consider looking at a baler.wrapper combo
No. We have zero damage to the bales the way we do it. Too much chance of putting a hole in them carting then wrapped
@@sandersfarmvids ..Baler wrappers should be parked in sheds next to thrashers...A good loader driver with good dry cut bales should not be ripping bales...
Great video, I subbed
God how many is that think of all that plastic to recycle responsibily 😂😂😂
It is all burnt in an incinerator that produces electric
That’s a good idea any chance of doing a quick video on it
The incinerator isn’t ours. The Isle of Man government have a collection scheme for all farmers.
Recycling is getting easier down here in Devon and Cornwall
Any particular reason you favour baled silage over clamped silage

@@sandersfarmvids you have already got the fancy tractors diet feeder fraction of the cost
Is there a reason you use bales and wrap them over using a forage harvester and making a pile? Seems like a lot of wasted time and plastic.
Joey Nemetz all answered in the other comments!
How come you don’t just clamp it then what is the reason for so many bales?
Building a clamp, buying a feed wagon, running a tractor on it, buying a forager and trailers all going to add up. Some of our land is quite awkward and far away for a chopper

What do you think of the Valtras? Looking for a new brand to replace a 7530,Nice video
Good solid tractor and a nice place to sit for a day.
Wow thats a shit load of bales nice work
Nice valtra
How many days do you spend a year making silage?
Seems crazy to me but other opinions are available.
Compared to clamp silage each cut probably take a couple of days longer than it would with a chopper due to increased wilting time and slower output
Where in the EU can you legally use as much fertilizer to get such a harvest.
We don’t use excessive amounts of fertilizer but we have spread lots of slurry for years so our fields are very fertile
Why are you not using press with wrapper?
Always better to wrap at the stack
Must have load of stock that ye need that many bales?
600 milkers and a fair few followers
You should buy an Easy Silage systeem. Works much cheaper and faster
Douwe De Jong looks good but the cost of that must be horrendous. We would need a few of those
, max size is 85 x 25 x 4 to feed 400 cows
Jesus Christ did you bale the entire island
Not quite! 😂
Aren't you guys considering buying a ficon fastbale so you don't have to pick up the bales 3 times And you won't have to stop to while you are baling
We would never wrap in the field, don’t agree with it
@@sandersfarmvids well if it would speed up the process of making that many bales why not?

How do bottom bales hold up stacked3 high impressive set up I know problem step ground
As long as they’re not too wet they stack ok. If we do a really wet cut then they will only be stacked 2 high
How many heads of cows they haved for that much baies?
Around 600 milkers plus followers
why do you prefer bales over pit silage ?
Suits our system. Cost of changing to a pit is a bit off putting. We have quite a few fields which are too far away and steep to be clamping
10 bale per acre on average 3100bales =310 acres a lot of ground and that’s just the meadow ground alone
Why does he load bales in the front first without any weight in the rear? He is totallying the front axel
Because that’s what you do! If he loaded the rear the drawbar would lift up and the trailer would roll down the hill
@@sandersfarmvids think he means the bale spike on back of the tractor.
Sorry misunderstood the question! The VALTRA has around 300kg of rear wheel weights so it barely knows it has two bales on the front
how many rpm does your pto spin when youre tedding?
450
How many bales is there made altogether?
Usually 5-6000 a year

Do you run GPS or just a good eye
Yeah I will admit I use gps! Only a basic old one though, no auto steer!

Does all that plastic get recycled?
It gets taken to an incinerator where it is burnt to produce electric

Why dont ye buy a fusion and draw them wrapped save ye wrapping n the yard
