Two bags for your daughter...very, very cute and so useful. Heart trivet...I think the border looks fine. Plushie Bear...so cute and the bunny is more than cute. Backbone pillow... useful and helpful. It's something I'd be interested in making. Interesting hearing about the sheep farm from Northern Canada. I also love pure wool yarn. Thanks for all the sources and information you always give us.

Hello Beautiful! Your Bear 🐻 and Bunny came out cute! That is so true on grannies favorite dishcloth. Debbie, I am so glad to see you I decided to go back and watch a couple of your videos that I missed. I love the bags!! You got the colors so right i think. I mean they look great no matter whether they look like the picture. Bags like this can be so time consuming. I have weaving in ends too. So i tend to use color changing yarn to do my grannies. However, i love those colors so may have to bust one out lol. Great job on the animals. Love the bunny. I do a lot of amigurumi myself and some patterns are more helpful than others. ❤❤❤

I love the granny square bag and the granny fabric lining is awesome! I find the corners of the granny knit dishcloth frustrating too, a suggestion someone gave me was to use the Granny Dishcloth 3.0 pattern from Ravelry, which seems to be better. I have trouble sometimes with that leg method on the bear, I often have to do it more than once to get it right, he looks soft and snuggly. The bunny is so so cute!!!! The backbone pillow looks super comfy. I don't know where you find them now, I haven't seen them in forever, but there is a fill that is squares of foam, it would come out stiffer than fiber fill. It's possible some of the super cheap pillows at walmart may have that fill and be cheaper than buying it as fill.
Hey Debbie! I'm working on the Winter Sky blanket also and I have to say that I went cross eyed trying to go by the chart! I'm going by the written pattern. Thank you so much for sharing the link!
Debbie, I think I learned about making the corners come out right in knitting by a channel called snufflebean yarn or maybe it was on skeino yarn channel.
I usually make granny squares when I need inspiration, or in between projects. That way I’m not spending huge chunks of time on them. I also crochet my ends in. It’s much quicker that way.
It was great seeing you, Debbie. The bags you made for your daughter are adorable. I have many family members who are always looking forward to more dish clothes. I am not familiar with the envelope stitch. Can you please educate me? 🧶💚
basically with mosaic crochet, every row is a different colour so there are a lot of ends. Instead of weaving in all those ends, you work crochet around either side of the edge of the project and then seam them together to envelope the loose ends
My granny's favorite dishcloths used to have the same pointy corner. I found a video that showed how to avoid it. I wish I could remember who did it. However instead of ending at the last stitch when you bind off, go to the first side stitch after the corner, bring up the stitch with that last stitch of the row and it will stop the point from happening. I think it was from the nimble needles here on youtube
Love the granny bags. That fabric is fantastic! ❤❤❤ I like the red peeking through on the heart trivet. Your bear is adorable! The bunny is precious! The backbone pillow looks great! How sweet to see the sheep that grew the wool! Enjoy your summer!

awww....thank you so very much😊
I usually make granny squares when I need inspiration, or in between projects. That way I’m not spending huge chunks of time on them. I also crochet my ends in. It’s much quicker that way.
Me too!!! I do the exact same thing
Lives are a difficult thing for me also.
Awesome awesome awesome!!!! Thank you so much for the tips I will try to implement it
I bet you could use some old pillow stuffing to make it firmer. Or by buck wheat hulls.
buckwheat hulls??? I have never heard of that. Something I should look into
Love the granny bags. That fabric is fantastic! ❤❤❤ I like the red peeking through on the heart trivet. Your bear is adorable! The bunny is precious! The backbone pillow looks great! How sweet to see the sheep that grew the wool! Enjoy your summer!
Thanks and I hope you are having a great summer as well
Granny square fabric!!! You are too much… In a great way!!! 😊
Oh thank you!😁
I love your bags.
I don't like the slip stitch method for the double borders. I use the front post method for the first rows (saves time a well)
Definitely going to try that . Thanks so much
Your colours are nicer
Thanks so much
Love the bags! Im wondering if my husband could use the back pillow.
It might help😊
He loves washes dishes
well, I don't know if he loves washing dishes but she is the only cook in the family and that is the deal they made. She cooks and he cleans up😊
I think the dish cloth pattern works out that way, I know mine do the decrease corner is more pointy than the rest
glad I am not the only one😊
Hi debbie ive missed youuuu ive been on and off youtube im on the waitlist still for surgery but im also in pre op physio to get stronger for after surgery ❤
Wishing you all the best!!❤️❤️❤️
Hi there! I really enjoyed your video. You are so upbeat! The bags are really cute. I was wondering what cotton you used? Thanks Janet
