Yesterday my little sister was playing roblox without touching the mouse, except when she needs to click something. She used the left and right arrow keys to turn at 1/2mph and moved forward and backward using up and down. She tried to swim up a waterfall but couldnt change the mouse angle to climb up it and i showed her how with wasd and told her to use that and she just yelled at me and spent the next 5 minutes climbing up the rocks around the waterfall. Yet when she plays minecraft on xbox she always turns.

A run without pressing buttons or using sticks could be a run where you can use only "vocals commands" a program recognised the sound and activate a command in the game.

Challenge aside, halo 3 was one of my favorite games as a young teenager. I remember playing forge and campaign all the time with one of my childhood friends. I remember how excited we were about halo: reach coming out when we saw the first bit of game play from the multi-player beta. Great series all together!
Well this is awesome, literally just a couple weeks ago I jokingly told my brother that there should be an achievement for never turning for the entire game

Well considering the multitude of difficult challenges they’ve achieved across the franchise, I’d say quite easy for them c:
At the beginning of halo 3 when chief's armor is locked up. This is if they could only get his ankles to move
And knees and halfway the hip joint
this is if chief suffered brain damage
This hurt my eyes, my brain, and it made my soul chip a little bit.
For the second scarab that you fight on the the ark, you could have just stuck your friend with a sticky and had them run into the target area to blow it up. I imagine that would have saved you a lot of time and headaches lol.

What if Master Chief and Arbiter suffer of cervical pains and they couldn't turn to aim

4:30 happened to me in a regular game-it was because there was one single jet pack brute on top of the roof of the little room you can get to, not moving (so not activating the motion sensor), and you have to kill all of them to move the plot forward.

Fun fact: If you decide to ride hornet rather than kicking the marine out, the marine will literally drive you to the first scarab. Once you destroy the first scarab and the core is about to explode, the marine will come back, airlift you off the first scarab, and take you to the 2nd scarab.

Whenever I play crow's nest there's always a brute that just stands at the control room thing
I had that softlock on Crows nest last night playing through, it's possible to get the brutes stuck in all sorts of places. Mine was stuck on the roof of the little thing high above and the only reason i figured it out was arbiter shooting at it. I love watching these challenges
Its a bug were the brute spawns partially in the ground so it cant move

It's not really full of bugs these days. Like almost every bug is a really minor thing at worst.
This one just appeared recently in an update and it's pretty uncommon we actually get a bug that can himder progression.
The premise of the video is an idea I would not think of as a 30 year-old. It brings me back like 10 years, or so, having these types of thoughts, and then actually trying them.
I have had the same thing on crows nest with the jetpack brutes. There was one standing on the roof of the control room area at the top of the stairs. They didn't jump down until you shot them.If you go to the top of the stairs round the back you can see onto the roof just before you enter the room with the window over the helipad area.
I love how turning up the difficulty was the solution.
When you were facing the wrong direction when trying to take out the scarab battery, you could have stuck someone with a grenade and then have them back up to it to damage it.
That brute that got "stuck" is a brute that ALWAYS spawns on top of that room with the cloaking modules, extra guns and other things. He's sort of used as a means to lure you to that place so you can pick up the goodies in that room because people might just overlook them and need them later. And then once you've looted the room, the best way to rid of him quickly is to throw a sticky grenade at him, since he never seems to get triggered unless you directly shoot him, miss or use a wrong grenade or just try to make your presence well known.
I’ve had Brutes get stuck on Crow’s Nest before. My friend and I looked for a long time before finally finding him.

The jetpack Brute on Crow's Nest seems to always do that. At least when I play.
I’ve ran into an issue on Crow’s Nest in that jetpack brute section where 2-3 of the brutes will for whatever reason keep their feet glued to the top of that overlooking secret room where the Cloaking equipment is. I’ve come to the conclusion that maybe that specific group of brutes spawns in last and if you take too long killing the other groups, they will spawn in and wait to engage but eventually will forget about you and just end up not engaging you until you find them.

The issue you ran into on crows nest with the soft lock, was a jetpack brute stuck on top of the active camo room, if you throw a grenade up there, they’ll get unstuck and jump down
The area where the brutes didnt spawn happened to me as well. The little room at the top of that area had a brute which I killed on top of it. Spent about 10 minutes stuck only to find the brute alive all over on top of that room

5:01 yea happens to me too. Sometimes the jetpack brutes are sitting on top of the control bay where you have to press the button. Sometimes you just have to look up and find them and shoot at them or throw a grenade...💯💯
Something worth bearing in mind for attempts on the other titles is that auto-aim is disabled when using mouse+keyboard. This could be used strategically to turn the camera using enemies, then storing it by switching to mouse control until necessary.
On the part of crows nest where you got softlocked; that actually happened to me where a brute hides under the little control tower room thing with the extra ammo.
I bet the glitched brute in Crows Nest was on top of the control room where you have like a camo and another equipiment (gravity lift?) ? This guy is always stuck there in all of my playthroughs, no idea why, but he is constistently there...
I always run into that one Jetpack Brute that stays up on the roof of that control room in Crow's Nest.
The brute glitch on crows nest happened to me too. Had to toss a Grenade on to the roof of the room up above the hangar

First thing I was thinking on the last level was you needed the ghosts
I experience this bug on Crow's Nest when playing the campaign on legendary with my brother very recently. The brute is not even activated or trained on our characters. He was on top of the air control tower of the landing area where you go upstairs, and didn't make a sound. The only way I saw him was by making a bunny hop to see him.

I had the same issue at 5:00, there’s a brute on the top of that room that was never fixed, you’ll always run into that issue.
The same thing on crows nest happens to me everytime I play it, a brute always gets stuck on top of that tiny control room
5:24 I had the same thing happen to me when playing with my wife, recently. He was stuck on top of the watch tower sort of thing. and even with me being able to look around it still gave me an a bit of trouble trying to find him
This reminds me of back when I was 2 or 3 years old and tried playing CS 1.1 or Half-Life on our family computer but doesn't know the mouse existed. (the Fire key was bound to Enter by my cousin for unknown reasons? Maybe it was related to how people used to play Doom)

For the jetpack brute glitch go check on top of that booth thing where some of them spawn at because that "glitch" has happened to me and I've had about 3 of them get stuck there before
4:50 there is a cheeky brute on top of the ledge when you climb the stairs who won't come down you need to kill him before progressing.
When I went ran through the section they went through, with my friend, the same thing happened. The jet pack brute was just sitting on top of the upstairs weapon cache. Took 15 minutes to find him
I once had the same problem with the stuck brute in crow's nest while trying to speedrun the level, it's a random bugged encounter that happens sometimes I believe.
On crows nest, a brute often doesn't leave the upper platform. It's very common but if you're aiming you tend to notice. I also think this means someone had to look up to notice the brute but I don't think that should count against them.
12:24 I would have stuck a grenade onto a teammate and have then run backwards into the core.
On crows nest at 5:03 there’s a problem with the jet pack brutes, one always goes to the top of the ATC room thing where it looks out over the pad. He just sits there and doesn’t move. Meaning you have to go up there and kill him to proceed . But it’s not jsut you guys it happens all the time on MCC
One brute spawns on top of the outlook that is at the top of the stairs. You need to grenade or gravity lift up to the roof. I only have this happen in the Master Chef collection.
The jet pack brute glitch is a pretty common thing at least it’s happened to me multiple times sometimes they even get stuck while trying to jet pack up and are just floating down there
Sometimes, once you kill some Jetpack Brutes and than missing someone like you doing a challenge or playing a normal way. It happened to me too or other's. One Jetpack Brute always hiding.
The brute glitch happened to me many times while playing Crow's nest. My explanation for why he is there is either 1: He spawned in the wrong place, and since he is in a foreign area, he is just confused and stop's functioning, or 2: His scripts are messed up and so he doesn't move.
@RocketSloth 4:25 i've been getting that softlock like five times more than normal since the Reach update (only ever happened twice b4). Something happened that made that specific group of jetpack brutes more likey to get stuck or for one of them to just shy away from jumping/jetpacking down

On the jet pack brute part on crows nest two brutes went on the top of one of the buildings with some ammo and didn’t move I ended up having to go up the stairs to kill them, it was the first place I looked to see if I killed everyone but I imagine it was the same issue
That thing with crows nest seems to be a new mcc bug. One brute seems to stay up there on the top every time I play that level.
I ran into the same issue on Crow's Nest, where you're unable to progress despite seemingly killing all the brutes, so that must be some kind of bug on MCC.
Do a blind fold laso with no shooting and no moving except in the occasions where you have to use vehicles and speed run it 2 hours AND you cannot die once!
Bet you can't do it for halo 2!
On Crows Nest, I had the exact same thing happen where a brute decided to hang out on top of the little control room and no one could see him. Only reason I noticed was because my reticle turned red for half a second lol. Possibly a widespread glitch?
