I had a blossoming cherry tree at the home where I raised my kids. It's flowers were a deep pink. I loved the tree so much. When the petals started to fall, it looked like pink snow. My children would sit under it laughing. My new neighbor was putting up a fence. The trunk of the tree divided about 3 feet up. Almost half of the tree was on his property. He was going to saw it off! I begged him not to because it would kill the tree. He finally agreed and cut a notch in the fence. I miss my home. I had to sell it because my ex left me with a mortgage twice the amount we purchased it.
