I thought that Louie may have become a cultural person and not so much about the gospel. All, everything we have is from Christ and on this Easter Day we need Christ as much as we did the day Jesus rose again. Please stay close to Christ
His analogies are so dumb. How do you get spiritually dead out of long jump?

The message is clear, except for the one who really cannot see. May your eyes one day be opened. Jesus came not just for me, but for you as well.
He used the visual illustration to show that we are spiritually dead until Jesus, Himself, makes us spiritually alive. Regarding the long jump, dead in sin can't move, but religion says we can work our way into the Lord's presence and gain approval and acceptance. Many examples of that lie are in the New Testament. We can only receive life through Christ and then only grow through his Spirit of grace in working in us. Christ in us, the hope of glory.
There's nobody good enough to get into heaven and nobody bad enough to be kept out if we surrender our lives to Him, die to self for His purposes, His will and His ways etc.
