Looks like a good way to get some of the carbon build up from valves out the Exhaust .
BDT are absolutely legendary. They're great tuners, and I love what they've managed to do for my A4
by the way, that limp mode issue has very little to do with the tune, and more to do with your map sensors and injectors. Incorrect timing and ratios can cause that, because the car will produce more power than expected and the ECU will send it into limp mode to prevent your engine from turning into fireworks.

@@x7N1NJ47xmost likely it’s limp mode from not having a upgraded HPFP and running a stage 2+ tune. Also to note BDT makes good tunes but they tend to not agree with a lot of cars. When they do work there great though.
If it has the stage 2+ not the regular stage 2 you need an upgraded high pressure fuel pump. That’s probably why it’s going into limp mode
That's is true cause the stock pump doesn't push alot of fuel when trying to get more power
what fuel pump do you recommend ?
@@zekeistaken Get a high Volume Fuel pump don't bother spending 1000 on an upgraded hpfp when you can just upgrade the internals of your stock hpfp
You don't need an upgraded hpfp for stage 2+.

that wasn't anti lag. you need to press clutch and gas while stationary to activate the antilag. You can't do it at speed btw.
Wait what ? Not tru you can rev it at any 5500 it should activate mine does even In gear

When you deleted the flaps with stock ecu, did u disconnect the flap actuator/motor? Im planning to delete the flaps, but don’t know how it will be when cold start

bro i hate my 07 Audi A4. this car burns a quart of oil every 200 miles!! i know it has a leak but it also smokes heavy when I accelerate. i changed all 16 valves/valve seals and the turbine in my turbo. why is this happening ??

Mine went into limp mode cause I was running my stock down pipe and it got clogged so you need a test pipe for it
I do have a test pipe, I think I need a high pressure fuel pump

Ive been running the same tune now, well actually one stage higher for about 9 months and I beat the ever living ass out of it. No issues what so ever :)

the brand is called sport racks. Kinda cheap but they have lasted me about 6 years!
Is BoostDyamic trustworthy in your opinion? I'm debating going stage 1 with crackles with them, or APR / Unitronic. What do you recommend. Thanks for all the help, I just haven't heard a ton about them.
I really like my tune, the car is a lot faster and the crackles are awesome. Like I said there are some things my car doesn’t like about it but that’s bc it’s not 100% catered to my car since I got it from Facebook. Also I’ve never interacted directly with boost dynamics. Apr is never a bad option but they only have one tube for the B7 and it’s not fast and there’s no crackles.
@@manymotors Neither REVO or APR have crackles or pops with the B7 2.0TFSI. They say it cannot be done SAFELY with the ECU. There MUST be a good reason for that. Some guy on facebook isnt going to care if your engine goes bad.
@@theenglishtrucker1849 yeah that’s why I don’t keep it in my car and usually use my APR ecu.
I ran a stage 1 with crackles/pop and 2 step with my a4 for about 6, 7 months and she ran fine without an issue until i did the 2step too much 🤣🤣.
Getting a chip tuner's never safe. Everybody's car is different. You are getting the tomb from the car that was put on a Dino. That could possibly have different bulltons that you have. It's always safer to just get accustomed to and just spend the money. Instead of spending $7800 on a chip tune spend the extra $200 $300. And put your car on a Dyno and do it properly
Can this stage 2 work on a stock a4 b7?
Mine is stock and it goes into limp mode. I wouldn’t do it with out a high pressure fuel pump.
Hey Nick what’s required with a stage 2 tune, I currently have 2008 Audi A4 b7 2.0
I believe it’s different for every tune. But I would suggest better spark plugs, a high pressure fuel pump a cold air intake and a high flow down pipe. If you’re going stage 2 just make sure you know everything about the tune.

I have an 08 a4 and want to go stage 1 with crackles but live in California so I can’t go cat-less for smog. Would you say it’s fine to run my stock down pipe?
I would think a crackle tune would be totally fine w a stock down pipe, they just might not be as loud.
Upgrade ur maf sensor to a 3” from 1.8 Audi TT, senses to much air going pass maf unit thank me later
