JJ your song and lyrics are my feelings when I get to go home!!! It is across the ocean for me and I don't get to go very often; it is so very hard. I cry often. Someone once told me you'll get used to living far from your family . . . but no, I have never got used to it. 17 years and I have only learned to cope with it. Songs like this one, even being so sentimental, somehow aliviate a bit the pain 💛 so thank you 💛

Very comforting song. Some of us have not had a constant place, and some have not even had constant people. I always figured that no matter how many homes we had due to Dad’s job, it was where my parents were that was home. When they were no longer together, it was hard to know where “home” was, and I have come to be more detached from the physical “sense of place,” and I know that “home” is where Jesus and God the Father are, and I was waiting for the verse that points us to our Heavenly Home, for that one is constant and perfect and forever. Your video brought to mind many memories of the multiple homes I have had, but I can’t go home to any of them. Can’t go back. I am headed for my forever home. See you there.😊
