Each pack comes with 2 decoders. And that is a good question, I don’t use the Hi Beams much, but when I do, they don’t flicker. So I only bought one pack for the Low Beams. I would recommend buying one pack first, and then if the Hi Beams flicker, buy another one 👍

My LEDs work no haven't turned off and no codes so thanks mate 🤘
Mine still don't work after buying this product . On auto only my driver side goes off. And if I turn my lights on they flicker every 15-20 mins or will turn off for a little. Anyone got any suggestions.

Do you also need a decoder on the fog lights and high beam? Or the issue is only on the low beams? I just install the LEDs on my 16 ram 1500, and my lights are flickering and randomly cutting off for like half a second and than back on. I really want to prevent pulling the grill again unnecessarily, it’s a major pain in the ass.

Think my comment got deleted.. use an OBD adapter and AlphaOBD. You don't need these decoders or resistors if you enable LEDs in the trucks computer for low, high, and fogs.
@@QuackTheRipper82 Never said these decoders won't work. Just saying it's a cleaner install as you wont have extra parts hanging off your lights. Think about it.. If you want to install LEDs into your low, high, and fog lights, that's 1 decoder hanging off each of your lights (6 total) and $75 spent. If you use OBD reader and AlphaOBD app, you change the trucks configuration to tell it that LEDs are present and you don't need all the extra junk hanging off your lights. Decoders are another item that can fail and then you are out out even more $$ when you have to replace them. It's even worse if you use resistors as they can get hot enough to melt plastic. So it's your choice, just throwing out options for anyone reading.
@@Kris-mj7lt Fair point. That makes sense. In my situation, I own a 2018 Chrysler 300. The hi and low beams run off the same 9005 bulb so only 1 decoder was necessary. I also went with the capacitor style which is significantly cooler than resistors and they tuck perfectly into the housing. I also see what you're saying of more parts equals more potential failures. Plus OBD readers are useful way beyond just this application obviously so that investment goes further.
I did the alphaobd and still have the same problem in the right headlight, after lost of search I fund the the2015 ram us the only one the have this problem, I’m goin to try this
@@gtannosgabriel1484 I have a 2015 and after completing the changes in alphaobd, I had no issues. Make sure to set headlights and fog lights to LED enabled and also set high intensity discharge headlights to enabled. Also make 1 change at a time, wait 5 minutes, then make another change else they may not save. If you still have issues after that, you may actually need those canbus error correctors. Enabling high intensity discharge headlamps is an important step people miss. That will disable the trucks PWM signal for the lights that causes issues with LEDs and HIDs.
I bought these for my jeep cherokee 9005 and they aren't working I have the harness right for plus negative factor and still can't get rid of the low beam out error
