Doctors have diagnosed my mom with leukemia. They're still trying to find out what kind. She's been on dialysis for 10 years. I'm asking my brothers and sisters in Messiah Yeshua/ Christ Jesus to stand in agreement with and also in declaring my mom's miraculous healing and excellent health for God's glory! I'd also like to enjoy more years with my mom as she is my closest friend other than Yeshua.

@@eikeksi11 Correct. Everyone has there own individual purpose. Everyone mistakes the urge to spread the "good news" as their calling. It's just an urge. Your purpose is something that God has been preparing you for since birth. It's a purpose that only you as the individual can accomplish. However, you have to get into a close relationship with the Father to find out what part of the plan he has set aside for you to complete, and most people fail to recognize the Father because they stop at the Son and forget the Father altogether. @Everyone, Find your purpose and help the Father fulfill HIS plan.

Many times I have questioned my calling. Am I doing Gods work, am I doing enough. God has sent me many signs in to form of decisions regarding career moves. I listened and maybe they weren’t the moves that I wanted, those moves worked for me and my family. God is always working behind the scenes . Pray and listen for He wil answer.
Is it so bad, that I want to die for Christ, to live?! Thank you Jesus, for making me one of yours, Amen.

Then DO it!
The desire for the power isn’t the focus. The desire is for Christ. The desire is for Christ at such a level that you put yourself “to death” crucified with Christ therefore I no longer live Christ that lives within me. Do you want that level of power, how much are you willing to give up? How much of your life will you turn over to him? He won’t just give you that level of power you must surrender to Him. The faith of a mustard seed means having faith in all situations. Surrendering no matter what fears, desires, angers emotions or covetousness you might feel. Hold those thoughts captive to Christ. Then pursue exactly what He tells you to do. and remember those who have faith in Christ obey Christ. If you believe on someone you will act accordingly to what they say. If you believe on Christ, you will obey Him and His word and the Holy Spirit. Remember where it says in the word I show you my faith by my works. Because faith without works is dead.
@benjaminbrack2588 If faith without works is dead, then there is nothing wrong with desiring works. Works brings glory to God. Works does not bring salvation.
@@eagle3351 I didn’t say there was anything wrong with works just explaining HOW to become someone who has CAN do such works… pursue Christ first then the works come along .but if you desire the works and don’t desire Christ then HE either won’t empower you or worse you will cast out demons in his name and prophecy in his name and He will say I know you not… matthew 7:22-23
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Honestly, I'm near 70 and never really felt I had a calling. Never really found my purpose. I've prayed on it. But never really found a direction. Just worked whatever job I would get hired to do. Lived and worked for my family, but I would love it if the Good Lord would guide me to something that would make me feel more fulfilled and serve him as I do for others.

It is imperative for us all to endeavor to speak, actually, the gospel of Jesus our Messiah. To dive wholeheartedly into our calling as our Lord and God has called us. Loving and praying for one another. Do not forget, you are not the only ones, there are brothers and sisters in extremely remote parts of the earth, Christians.
For a time we, all, will enter into a time, a season of relative peace. Time of prosperity even though turmoils will continue to stir. This is a time of boldness of feasting at the table of trust in Messiah Jesus. Calling and drawing closer into the Holy Spirit. Proclaiming God's spoken and written truth, denouncing all lies and deciet, boldly!
At the end of this season, then will come the harshness and heart rendering troubles of tribulation. Where all that is grown and matured in you during this coming season, will pour forth as a mighty army in full battle array. Amen.

All have sinned (Romans 3:23 KJV). The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day (1st Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV). Jesus shed His blood for our sins (Ephesians 1:7 KJV). Getting water baptized DOESN'T save us (1 Corinthians 1:17 KJV). We are saved by grace through faith, not works (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV). Only Jesus saves from hell
Getting baptized is to be born again! It's to show God you are dedicated to Him, to receive the Holy Spirit, to go and make disciples. If Jesus did it, it's what I want to do! And you will have a purpose in heaven and that depends on what you did on earth.

Being in the People's Republic of New Jersey, how does the church maintain church security?
I’m obviously not Jonathan but here is the broader answer nevertheless. Security comes from the hand of God. He is our strong tower. By obedience we stay in HIS perfect will and then by doing so we stay in the shadow of HIS wings. All things work to the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. Just stay in His calling brother or sister. Like Peter just needed to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus don’t dwell on the wind and the waves. After doing so just stand and anything that is allowed to attack you was permitted by God to perfect your faith if the church is attacked then it will protect their greater faith. Christ promises we will be persecuted so prepare your heart and mind for it as individuals so that the church will stand strong wether it’s jack booted thugs or a terror act Christ is Lord and death for us is only the beginning!

Jesus didn't have or need a mantle, bc he was the mantle of the prophets. The Spirit of God. God himself, who is the Spirit who hovered over the deep. The Creator. The OT Holy Spirit of God. There is only One true God. And only one true message, and plan of God...He is the Holy Spirit in you, there is no way that you couldn't have "got it" as a believer. Bc he IS it, and All in All...No OT or NT hocus pocus. Believe and receive Jesus as your Savior and God, that's it. He will do the rest. Follow the lead of his Spirit, it is contrary to the world. And often contrary to what many understand.
