    The tangents you did were of great interest, such as your former classmate as well as the dome project. Just 2 wks ago l returned for a visit to NYC and environs, and the continuation of other stories in the city are a consideration. Manny, you are a great presenter and story teller and the 'walkabouts' probably generate the most interest for your audience.

    Great to hear your thoughts Manny and to have a personal tour of the beautiful Untermyer Park in the springtime.

    Manny, I think the most excitement & interest I had was when you deconstructed the shootings & their sets. Thats the real nutmeat for me, especially since you did such a good job of debunking the cult factor that M.T. sold us all.
    I hope there's a way you can revisit the actual sets & crimes with a fresh slant since these things are the real "true crime" of this saga. Doing this with men like Catalano & Lorenzo always makes the videos that more interesting, you guys work well together to bring us great content.
    Here's to the last 4 years, and more to come.

      Thanks Ray. I may take you up on that suggestion, although we pretty much covered Moscowitz, Freund and Voskerichian pretty extensively already. Catalano and I had tentative plans to get back out to Lomino/Demasi at some point. I appreciate the good vibes!

      @@mannygrossman Manny, it's kinda weird, but I've been feeling a pull toward an Untermeyer visit for a while now. Just today I had to pick up a car in Patterson NJ and the owner told me he lives in Yonkers...he's too young to know anything about S.O.S. but the coincidence blew me away....now I really want to visit the park to get a first hand view of the place.

      @@raygee1138 It's not that special a place, especially now that we know that the vast majority of the "cult" stuff was nothing more than urban myth and legend. But I do hope you can get up there if you want to and that you enjoy it.

    Manny, I personally observed a pile of 4 or 5 dead German Shepherds in Untermyer Park in the 1980s. I don't recall 40 years later if I saw any other animal remains in the park on other occasions. The pile of dogs is something that stood out.
    It would be hard to fathom nobody else stumbled across such a find at the time. I don't claim to know who killed them or why, but I doubt they were dead fighting dogs, based on breed, that someone trudged all the way into the back of the park to dump or decapitate.
    Cultists? I did observe several people doing some type of rituals on Halloween in the early 1980s, with paintings, candles, inverted cross, altar. Another time I was chased out of the park by what I would loosely describe as cultists, then pursued by a vehicle from the park south, before losing them north of Getty Square.
    I also accidentally walked right into a large gathering of people in dark robes, in a circle, with torches, doing some type of chanting in Van Cortlandt Park and had some type of ceremonial knives, daggers. This was also in the early 1980s. I didn't stick around to interview them.
    Did any of these events in the 1980s have anything to do with David Berkowitz? No. They may be separate unrelated issues but the Process Church, have killed stories, documentaries, even in the last decade, unrelated to Maury Terry.
    Sex trafficking of minors in NYC tied to Yonkers in the 1970s? If you really wanted to shed light on that topic you could interview an expert on the subject like Joe Mazzilli that has no affiliation with Maury Terry, unlike James Rothstein.
    Human bodies buried in Untermyer Park? One way to prove or disprove this theory or urban legend would be specially trained cadaver dogs that can detect older human remains.
    You mentioned the soil being an obstacle to burying bodies. I don't think it would be very practical to spend hours digging a grave before or after a sacrificial ritual slaying in a park many people frequented. Any group demented enough to perform such a ritual sacrifice would probably keep the body as a trophy.

    • @mannygrossman
      @mannygrossman  7 місяців тому +1

      All your stories, if true, took place post 77 exactly like the eyewitnesses I toured the park with. I think it's safe to say that some limited stuff took place there in the 80's, but nothing like the organized ring of hardcore Satanic activity that Maury tried to portray. And certainly child trafficking and killing were not part of it. Just no real world evidence. Dead dogs are bad. But they don't signify anything having to do with Berkowitz. And ultimately that's the point. Whatever took place in Untermyer was a wholly separate phenomenon than SOS.

    • @AvengerAngel
      @AvengerAngel 7 місяців тому +1

      The Process Church dissolved in 1974. After 1974 there was NO Process Church. An unorganized group of people or one lone person can claim resurrection, or even create social media group to attract aficionados. The reason the Process Church "killed stories" about them, even sued in court (which would certainly provide "evidence" of any nefarious activities) whether in print or documentaries (more like "Crockumentaries") is because of the false narratives that have been spun about the organization.

    • @mannygrossman
      @mannygrossman  7 місяців тому +1

      As I've said dozens of times, once I figured out Maury lied about Process involvement in Son of Sam my interest in that group fell to less than nothing. To me it's a total waste of time. Totally inconsequential group with zero impact on the real world as presently constituted. I get that there are lots of people out there still infected with conspiritardism, but they are dinosaurs. Nothing more than Satanic Panic freakazoids with zero power in their personal lives so they need to blame some external source for their misery and failure. A bogeyman like "the process" or "scientology" is a perfect thing for the 500 pound basement dwellers to get into. It also allows them to indulge their secret desires to be pedos under the cover of "caring" about the issue of pedophilia. Sick people all around. Glad I got out of that world.

    • @AvengerAngel
      @AvengerAngel 7 місяців тому +1

      The Process has an interesting history, no doubt. They were an enigmatic group, who divorced themselves from their beginnings as a group interested in advanced psychoanalysis (ala' Ron Hubbard, since Moore was a student). Once it was discovered that religion was the real money maker the plan was hatched to untie the entities. Something as prosaic as surviving a hurricane in Xtul was good enough to get those non-secular/financial juices flowing for Robert and his gal, Mary Anne. Hit the big cities and rake in the dough. @@mannygrossman

    Amazing that some people still arm themselves with a shovel to dig the rabbit hole of the SOS and occult connections even deeper than Maury Terry could ever dream (pun intended). Untermeyer is such a beautiful park. It is too bad the soil is stained with the blood from human sacrifice, NYC's answer to a Mayan Temple! You can't kick the dirt without unearthing a human bone! Excuse my satirical comments; reflective of the folks still infected with "Mauryitis".

    • @mannygrossman
      @mannygrossman  7 місяців тому

      Without a doubt. Modern day Maurons are crazier than Mr. T ever was.
      Not only do they know in their hearts that Mr. T lied, but they've conditioned themselves to ignore it all and come up with even crazier flights of fancy.
      Quite frankly, I think even Mr. T would hang his head in shame as to what he created with his book of Hoosow. Or maybe not. Maybe he was so perverse that he enjoyed watching his deluded followers trip all over themselves. I gotta admit it was probably fun for Maury watching Carl Denaro expound drunkenly about Mr. Real Estate at the monthly benders they all enjoyed over the decades.

      I have no plans to end things. Just trying to figure out my next move. Billy is hard to top. After all, it's not every day a True Crime researcher gets a major player from a book to admit that he lied about the entire thing. The impact of Billy still has to reverberate around the SOS world for a little while longer. Most people get it, but a few are still in major denial about the reality of the new SOS world they are living in. But at this point I got the last remaining Maury Terry fans worshipping comic book characters so I'm just sitting back and enjoying the show.

      That’s a good thing. As soon as I watched the first Billy video I thought it’s all finished now I hope not but Billy really blows the lid off of MT bullshit. The other night I was watching a video and they were using MT TUE as a reference at first I ignored it but by the end of the live I couldn’t take it anymore and I told them that MT was a liar and it’s been proven.
