I got the M1 SFT70 5000K with the 18350 tube some time ago. I absolutely love it! So adorably small. A real pocket rocket. Waiting on a T6 with SFT25R 5000K. Now considering an M1 with SFT25R 5000K.
Hello sir. If I had known that there was a 5000K version, I would have asked Simon for it. When I had a look at the site, at that time, I didn't see 5000K version. I think SFT25R is very good. Thank you very much for your support sir 😊🙏.
I wanted to get one of these emitters in an S6 with short tube and this vid was very helpful to see both and they both are good. The SFT25 would be lower power for the smaller S6 so probably I will get the 25r in 5k.
@@weerapatkiatdumrongmy friend you don't waste any time for the reviews, love the channel, and I want the s6 sft25r too, I have cslnm1 and I want more power but not to lose to much throw, and the 5000k would be awesome
Thank you for another great comparison! 🙏 On the same host, which emitter would you prefer for a good combination of throw and spill, the SFT-25R (5000K) or the SFT70 (5000K)? In a previous video, the SFT70 5K emitter seemed like it had a green tint at lower settings, where the SFT-25R seemed to have a more neutral tint color (I only saw the 6500K version). Perhaps you could comment on the tint color for both these emitters as well, and which one of these emitters you feel gives a better color rendition. Again, thanks in advance!
Hello sir. Actually I like a big hotspot. 5050 led is good for me. Sft40 5000k, sst40 5000k, sft70 5000K are fine for me sir. SFT25R is good for long range & self defense. I haven't got a chance to try 5000k. Thank you very much for your support sir 😊🙏.
Which combination of the S21B/M1 and SFT40 30K/SFT25R 50K would you pick for outdoor use? My favorite so far is a Wurkkos TD03, but I want a simpler clicky UI and better output regulation, both the SFT40 30K (for color temp) and SFT25R (for throw) are interesting and I can't decide!
@okcrc better hotspot on SFT-25R almost no corona. When I say very distinct round beam, you can literally trace the hotspot. That's how clean the beam is lol. SFT40 has wider hotspot but not by much. I have my SFT-25R on mode group 6 with mode memory off. And medium mode is almost as intense as 100% of SFT40.
Thats the beauty of legit original emitter from reliable manufacturer. They can usually handle more current than what they are rated for with some trade-off.
Hello sir. It can handle that current. You can check the led test. budgetlightforum.com/t/led-test-review-luminus-sft-25r-6500-k-70-cri-good-thrower-led-in-3535-standard-footprint/225143 Thanks for watching and your support sir 😊. Please subscribe 🙏.
Not much, consider there's voltage sag', resistant within the circuit ( cables, switch etc); even when you start with the battery at full 4,2v. So it should be ok.
@@weerapatkiatdumrong We wear a T-shirt at 17 degrees, it is a comfortable temperature for us. It is -5 degrees outside now, and I can’t say that it is very cold 😄
Hello sir. 17 is fine for me. A T-shirt is enough. 15 is too cold. 17 + riding my motorbike to the basketball court is very cold. My place now quite cold and windy. In my forest, not cold. Trees block coldness. This is a good time to review flashlights. Summer is do hot. 35° even when it's dark.
@weerapatkiatdumrong Yes. It works perfectly after that. I decided to do that, because it is similar to c8+ which has ipx8, almost the same tube and o rings (a little bit bigger but nevertheless), the same button, so i tried and it survived

Do you know if they're planning on making SFT25-R in 3000k and 5000k?
5000k option is already on the website. If your choice of flashlight doesn't offer it in 5000k you can message Simon and he will do it for you.
