It was a pleasure seeing her sing this with Benny in Minnesota. And it will remain with me. A great voice of Sweden with one of the greatest composers of the 20th/21st century.
I like comfortable and free way she enjoys and has a good time interpreting the song thatadds additional meaning. A really great performance of a song that holds up well over time and says something on a subject in a song not spoken often of, I think, and that is the subject of money and the effect it has on peoples lives...it's true, even though I wish it didn't have nearly the importance that it does in -it seems- many peoples lives.
dealerovsky 82 you are right!! Helen is really a great singer!! Before this song (money....) I don't know her but now yes I know Helen and all her songs.
Helen Sjöholm är fantastisk. Hörde den här när hon sjöng den live 1998 på B&B-konsert i Globen och den är och förblir min absoluta favoritversion av denna låt (Meryl Streep gör den med bra).
I love the orchestra in the back ground. Yeah, she performs this perfectly (riffy, but still good) but this backing track (so to speak) is amazing. haha. :)
@fgallentoft men den FINNS att få tag på på CD. Jag har den! Heter den inte Från Waterloo till Duvemåla? Köpte den för några år sedan i en vanlig skivbutik i halmstad.
On the other hand, put Frida on this stage singing this version and I'm not so sure the discrepancy would be as great as it seems. She could do some amazing things herself when the notion took her.
This version is extreamly good, It doesn't matter who sings it. The sound is what matters. I love the ABBA version too. I'm a big fan of ABBA. I find it quite sad if you have to criticize a good sound ing song. My conclusion is that you have nothing better to do than crab ALLLLL day. Maybe you should find a hobby?
This is not a cover of the Abba original regardless of whether Benny is there or not. By definition a cover is a recording of a song and this is no more than a performance and a damn fine one at that.
And Frida is no Helen. It's amazing the way she manages to take ownership of songs that have been trademarks of other great singers. To attempt a comparisson between Frida and Helen is this particular case is an injustice to both.
I'm a great Frida fan. But I have to be honest: Helen sing very well and I like this version of money ...so different from the original- But in any case:Frida is the number 1!!!
You mean "Who ever asked you, man? Hahaha." Right? Since it is a question it requires a question mark, and "u," if anything, is a short for "university." And since the target of the sentence is "man" you must have a comma before it so signify so. Your sentence right now reads "Who ever asked university man Hahaha" as in that there is a man named "Hahaha" who works at the U. And no one ever asked you to respond either, so your own point is moot.

i love this version! it is very refreshing from the other covers! helen is an amazing performer, very talented and charismatic!
I've been a big fan of Helen's for quite a number of years, but this is the first time this has popped up. What an entertainer!
WOW - Great song by a fantastic singer, lets hear and see more from this truly talented Lady!!!
So, her voice kind of sent shivers down my spine.
What an amazing voice, seriously.
She's so fabulous! I love watching her sing and act.
Indeed! With a voice like that it's amazing that she's not just as famous all over the world!

Very Nice!!! ABBA is a tough act to follow..she did it very well..Just Awesome,,,

So, I came here thinking, 'If anyone can cover ABBA and do them justice, it'll be Helen!' ...I was right. :D
@Felicity1247 she should be famous around the world!! more people should know about her! Such a wonderful interpretation of this song
I liked the background arrangement! Thats how you do it!!! If abba had that real orchestra sound... ohh it would have owned.
Helen Sjöholm är fantastisk. Hörde den här när hon sjöng den live 1998 på B&B-konsert i Globen och den är och förblir min absoluta favoritversion av denna låt (Meryl Streep gör den med bra).
Awesome!
Vem vill inte det?? F*N va bra hon är!

Nice performance!
The Best Female Singer On Planet Earth !
I love it,!
2:18: I love the Spanish-esque 'Lah Lahs'. Brilliant.
Enjoyed this video! All the best!!
amazing!!
Helen = Amazing.
The End.
Great performance. I didnt know that it was a tango, but yes, it works.
And she has alot of DVDs and CDs. I've just been to her site.
STAY AWESOME! :)
love this, hope she can sing one from my show Thelma x
Great!!!!
❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

It breaks my heart to admit it, but this blows Frida's version out of the water. I notice Benny's on the piano. What a performer he is!
Fabulous! And here I was, about to conclude that she doesn't really shine when she sings in english... I eat my words.
On the other hand, put Frida on this stage singing this version and I'm not so sure the discrepancy would be as great as it seems. She could do some amazing things herself when the notion took her.
Synd att den inte finns att få tag i på CD. Hon sjunger lika bra live som på skiva.!!
Första gången jag hör en lyckad Abba-cover! Men allt Helen rör vid blir ju till guld så jag borde inte vara förvånad? ;)
Japp! det är jag.....skojar bara...

Eller vad menar du?
Not bad at all in this version!

Sounds like a hard tango if the tempo changes

Great song, but she is no Frida.
Absolutely true. But still greay
+Juan Sánchez great*

How wonderful would Mamma Mia! have been had it had a decent story and interpretations like this. Sigh.
I'm a great Frida fan.

It is good, but nobody can sing it like Frida.
haha jaså ... inte jag...
This song is like a "If I was a rich man" with gender swapped... hahaha...
You mean "Who ever asked you, man? Hahaha."

I find you quite quite sad
Helen has a much much better voice then frida
and is a much better singer
Bjorn and Benny said that this song is a joke, and nothing serious at all.
