Meanwhile you have access to multi kills, the ability to pick you fights, the ability to hide in the place you want the fights. And any multikill is a point potential the other team doesn't have. But that doesn't mean the guy doesn't have the skill, you still need that or you are just going to die every engagement. It just means any skilled players in the 4 are hampered by a weak link. Source: the guy who does 1v3's and 1v4's with his friends because it was the only way they could have a chance to win a game. In my opinion 1v1's are harder than 1v4's, but that's just me.

I remember having a situation like this back in good old Halo 3 days. Big team battle, but my entire team left. All guest players for the most part. One guy against a whole team. It was on Valhalla, and at the time there was a small glitch I exploited. First I sniped one guy, and at the time there was a ledge you could use a Warthog to hop up on the base, and move around the corner. Just stayed there the rest of the game. Bungie later patched it, but did wonders for the time :)
