@@sol923he still had both his hands when he tricked Hanami, there was a 50/50 chance that Mahito calls his bluff cause he knew damn well he took at least one arm

It's kinda fitting how all of the disaster curses who symbolise naturalistic catastrophies, while dying to absolute monsters, didn't act pathetic or anything while Mahito got reduced to the crying whimp that he is. After all he's born out of all the negative emotions of humans and most of the disgusting humans we know end up exactly like that right before they die.
@@radiantdiscord2649 I agrée with Dagon cuz at least he was somewhat putting up a fight, but with hanami come on man, got its eyes ripped out and was struggling for his life being crushed by walking while his opp was laughing in his face
Yes. That does mean his days of being a sorcerer are basically done. Having a severed limb that you can’t heal is a BIG BIG disadvantage in this series as having both hands to do hand signs or just in general goes a long way. Shoko can’t fix severed limbs and even if she could, you can’t reverse anything that was affected by Mahito’s technique. So yes. He no longer can use his ability so he’s basically saying like “its joever for my contributions”
well he can still be first grade sorcerer, after all he never used his technique to defeat first grade curses before. His technique could be used still by the distance to support others, with someone else there to clap his right hand by his side. But of course he will never reach his true potential anymore.
Not really loosing one hand don't mean that you are done as a sorcerer todo don't use hand sign and he can still hit with his arm and for exemple kusakabe is a first grade sorcerer without any technique
@@zeldojikkai4924 He needs his hands for his technique dude. He can’t just DO it. He needs to clap. Clapping requires HANDS. Regardless of that, Todo flat out states that his technique “died” so you can argue it just doesn’t work anymore.

I love the forest imagery. I took it as since Mahito is a man type curse it was the ultimate man to man terror. Sure the wolves hunting their prey is obvious, but the man that slowly comes in for the kill to show you there's no defense and no help, no escape and is going to beat you to deth in an isolated area and leave you to be eaten by animals. I mean Mahito is supposed to be what humans fear, so his ultimate fear is honestly so human, I guess.
10:35. I find it so funny how we all witnessed what sukuna did to the whole of shibuya and the citizens there and still think even for a sec that Yuji would ever willingly bring him out. Sukuna and Yuji are not allies and Yuji would rather die than ask him for help ever, same way sukuna would rather watch Yuji die than help him.
The reason Mahito says he "learned this from Gojo" is because in the trainstation he used a 0.2 duration domain expansion on them to not kill all the humans as well if u remember. Bro just watched that and said "yep ty sensei"
unluckily as we know todo's arm can't be regenerated because it's caused by "soul damage" not body damage, that's the main point of Mahito's strenght, that affecting the soul, the damages dealt by him can't be healed
That’s the face we want to see on Mahito’s face, the face of fear. The consequences of his actions enjoyed hurting others finally caught up with Mahito
9:30 even before the transformation he could not transfigure Yuji because of Sukuna. That is why Yuji was such a great counter for him. Yuji could damage his soul and ignore his transfigure technique. In this form Mahito can't transfigure his own body but he can transfigure the bodies of others still by touching them. In exchange for loosing the ability to change his own form his strength increases by 200%. His speed improves significantly and he gains an almost unbreakable armor. Although he can't transfigure his body in that form this rule does not apply to his hair, tail and his blades. He can still change their length freely. As we saw in the episode he can go in and out of this form at will and even turn half of his body to its normal state to transfigure it. He can stay in that form for as long as he wants. He intentionally deactivated it in half of his own body so that he reduce the effect of Yujis punch.
The sub titles didn't do justice for what Todo said, you guys are technically correct but in the manga when he claps his hand to distract Mahito he says "my Boogie Woogie technique is already dead", I love his character so much.
Me, who never forgotten yuji as mc. Of course it's natural that there's someone who's stronger than him. But this boy is made from scratch (when I say scratch, developing, adapting, upgrading, his physical prowess) so he has to follow up. He does train and keeps getting into battles while still training. His dedication and people who made him who he is, is the reason why he's the goat. He's definitely the main favorite of many, but for me, he's my fave🔥
he didn't lose the ability, he can't touch Yuji's soul because of Sukuna, the only reason he got away with his domain expansion was because it was so fast
I think you missed it but I think Todo was doing a fake out with his technique once he lost his hand. He couldn't really use his technique but it still confused Mahito
How are you this far into the anime and still unaware that Mahito could never use Idle Transfiguration on Yuji 🤔. Mahito literally said (in season 1) that since Yuji became Sukuna’s vessel (hosting an additional soul) he gained the understanding to guard his soul. This same understanding is what lets Yuji hurt Mahito, hence why Mahito declared that Yuji was his natural enemy.
Todo's Boogie Woogie technique is dead. It died the second he used his remaining hand to clap with Mahito's hand. Mahito had reactivated Idol Transfiguration, he says it right as his hands glow purple. And if I'm honest Todo is lucky he made it out alive. It sucks that Boogie Woogie is dead but I'm glad Todo is not.
main reason is cuz mahito activated his domain faster, todo was in the position ready to activate his simple domain, but wasn't fast enough since mahito was faster. But even if hypothetically todo was able to do it on time, as long as yuji isnt there since any longer than 0.2 seconds of his domain would touch sukuna and kill mahito, simple domains don't work on very powerful and complex domains, so 1v1 mahito and todo, if he used his domain expansion and todo reacted with simple domain, even if todo activated it first, it wouldn't be very effective cuz mahito's domain is too complex and too strong which would overpower simple domain too much
this scene seems to ruin the ability to think of reactors. they're too busy reacting to the clap with the stump and the animation action they never read the line about how they never switched. the only ones i've seen so far catch that was heetah and hustlah. fascinating. its like todo comes out and everyone stops paying attention. but i mean i guess reading and watching carefully is hard and i'm not being sarcastic. i can damn understand japanese and i still miss visual details more than your average watcher. but my goodness its absurd how many people seem to miss the part that boogie woogie was dead as soon as he cut off his hand. especially because the major flex was that todo ensured yujis victory with A BLUFF THAT DID NOTHING
Boogie Woogie is the teleportation technique, which Todo can no longer use. He's still able to be a sorcerer because his loss of an arm doesn't prevent him from using cursed energy for combat (or his simple domain), and he's still at a bare minimum, a Grade 2 without his technique. I hate to break it to you, but next episode is nowhere near the last traumatizing episode. It's trauma all the way down for the rest of the series.
