Thank you guys for sharing this dream hunt with all of us. What a blessing to be able to be there, and a blessing to have that moment. Most of all, I think you need to be grateful to the ram for his sacrifice to feed your family and others for a long time.
what a beautiful Ram congratulations , nice shot , and great family memories for you your son and brother and friends , these are the moments that are meant to be shared , God bless , a trip your son will always remember as one of the best in his life ,
You could barely hit one at the distance you shot and decided to make an incredibly unethical second shot with them grouped tight. People like you give hunters a bad name.
The camera angle is deceiving. They weren’t grouped as tight as the camera angle looks. I was set up to the right of Nick filming, so it looks like they were almost all in a line and in reality they were not.
Congrats on your Bighorn but I thought your second shot was taking a big risk of wounding a second ram, unless the camera angle was deceptive. Just baking it like you're video shows it.
It is a felony in the USA to not collect and consume a majority of the meat from a game animal! Only non-game (or pest) species that are too abundant are not required to be eaten since the goal is just to reduce their numbers. Bighorn sheep is also definitely top 3, if not top, tastiest native US game animal, so he’s a lucky guy
any hunter I know hunt for the meat and its a law you have to take and eat all eatable meat , its far tastier then beef and natural feed , no preservatives or ranch industry feed from a feed lot ,
Congratulations and so great that you made your son a part of the efforts of the hunt! Fantastic filming for a vivid, lifetime memory.
Glad you enjoyed it

It was a shot at a very steep angle, it definitely looked closer on camera than it was!
Wish I would have had a film crew when I got my Montana Ram
So cool hunt but do you all eat the meat or you hunting for sport ?

Absolutely! Animals harvested end up as food on the table.
Great hunt guys ........ I do have to wonder how these hunting industry people always have an impossible tag hmmm???? It's rigged for sure.
He applied through his state lottery and got lucky! it is not a preference point hunt and he got the lucky draw with the same odds as everyone else!
