How to Use Background Removal with Camtasia 2023 - no green screen required

If you want to change your background or just remove it has meant having a green screen, or in some cases a blue screen, this means having to set one up and also get hold of one. Now Camtasia 2023 has a background removal effect that does this without the need for a blue or green screen.
You do need to be aware of your background and that you don't blend in to it and I find that being well lit helps too. So as long as you are going to stand out from the background then give it a go, I think you will be impressed.

It's surprising how well it worked for the demo above...since his background color is not even a distinctive color or contrast from his shirt or complexion.

I don't see the Background Removal tool in Visual Effects - where did you get this from? I've seen another video with this tool in beta-mode- has it been removed?

It didn't give me good results. Surely in environments like yours it works but trying to delete the backbroung in a simple part of a video did not work for me

I was thinking about exporting the video as images and then removing the background with an image program but I still don't know how to export to images.
