I may need more clarification regarding what part you're talking about. But I believe your suggestion wasn't necessary for the instruction taking place. It's better to simplify instruction to one or two elements when giving a video demonstration. This is so that time can be spent teaching what we need to teach to the best of our ability, and not confusing anyone with extra content that might interfere with the element being talked about.
