oh, i remember playing grounders. the player counts "1 2 10" then goes up in the playground close their eyes and trying to tag someone. if they tag someone then the person is it. if the player is on the ground they can open their eyes they can try to tag someone on the playground. if the player is on the playground they can say grounders the other players will say "not it" but if other players are on the ground they can be it. yep that's how we play as kids.
