As a cat owner, I know how easily fur can get all over the place, even with air purifiers in each room. You did an excellent job getting into the nooks and crannies! I know it took up a lot of time, but I’m glad the decluttering went smoothly. Again, brava, Queen! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I am a short woman and I'm always struggling with high kitchen shelves. I solved this problem with putting lightweight items like coffee filters, kitchen paper, cereals, instant soups etc. into boxes. If I need something I can grab the box and put it back again as one, so i don't have to rummage through a lot of single packages and piles high above my head or to climb ladders. (And never put things back again up there.)
Same in the bedroom. Folded clothes in a pile love to unfold themselves or jump on my head as an avalanche. I put them in a big box (for example Skubb from Ikea) to deal with them easier.
I wonder if it is really possible for outsiders to grasp the dimension of change you bring to those homes! In fact you turn all the apartments into homes! ❤
My mom would buy the same foods each week even if she didn’t use all she got the week before so we found many, many cans of tomato soup that were 15 years old! I think it’s important to put daily use items in an easy to see and check cabinet, _NOT_ DOWN LOW. That’s what I think.
You can use Barkeepers Friend on the sink. It cleans and shines.

I have cats too, so I like to wipe the top of the refrigerator with furniture polish. It seems to help to control dust and cat hair.

Looks so much better! The cat hair reminded me that I wanted to mention how happy I was to find rubber brooms.
Possibly better for dryer/less greasy spaces than the kitchen, but rubber brooms really are great at collecting hairy fluff. Hairdressers here tend to use them as well :) What I particularly enjoy about mine is that it can be rinsed in hot water, and then all the fluff is taken off. I used to have a much harder time getting my regular brooms back into usable shape after they picked up too much fuzz.

Until you have cleaned one of those greasy, long baked on grime and food inside and outside ovens, you really have no clue how much elbow grease and energy it takes to get it cleaned to look almost like new! I admire and have respect for anyone doing this! Having said that, I just had to do the same at a rental property and the dirt didn't come off easily without having the ZEP or Easy off oven cleaner. It was disgusting and after 2 hours of scrubbing and scraping every inch of it, my body was in pain and my energy drained. I think this was my first and last experiment doing this LOL

I use window cleaner after I scrub a stove down. The window cleaner makes it shiny and no streaks.

That counter top, stove and sink sparkles.No matter how much I clean, mine never sparkles. Also I have to keep a plastic dishpan in my sink to rinse dishes off. Then I throw the water outside otherwise my sink gets clogged. I am definitely going to watch this again!
Baking soda and boiling water can clean out your pipes. Though it sounds like you might need to check your trap, first. See if anything is blocking the flow of water.

The sponge you're using to clean the kitchen sink you could cut in half. It fits your hand easier that way, and you get more use out of the halves. Great job, Barbie!

Hi there! Great movie. Crushing cardboard and bottles before disposal is a good idea, isn't it? I recommend showcasing more often in videos how you crush cardboard or other bulky waste to save on trash bags and set an example for others. 😉 Regards

LOL, you must be taller than most people. I don’t feel I can safely pull hot things from a microwave, especially anything at all liquid, if the bottom is more than chest high.

I have medium size fridge and I put my small microwave on the top of it because I have a very small kitchen 😅 I am not tall at all and I stand on a chair to clean it and pick it up 😂

I have a friend who is a plumber and he despises Drano. Says its bad for the pipes and awful for the plumber, if he has to unclog, cause it's caustic.
Baking soda and boiling water is a better way to clean out the pipes.

You should tie a plastic bag from the grocery store in the broom. It helps a lot to broom hair and dust and then you can just throw away the plastic bag.
