  • The biggest vintage Park Tool collection on the internet! Everything from the 1963-79 era to the present, Kevin Czuba has an AMAZING vintage tool collection!
Throughout his entire life of being in the bicycle mechanic industry, my good friend Kevin Czuba has collected a huge amount of bicycles and bicycle tools. I visited him this past weekend and noticed the amount of Park Tools I could randomly spot throughout his garage. Being a brand ambassador for Park Tool, I knew we had to do this video tour searching for all of his Park Tools! Some of the tools he has have logos that date all the way back to the 1963-79 era!!
If you have any information about these tools, don't hesitate to leave it in the comments below! We are anxious to learn about some of these tools!

Great collection of classics. So...to answer some of the questions you brought up:
-The BT-3 you have was designed to "toe in" brake shoes on caliper brakes. If it fit a derailleur then it was a bonus.
-The double arm stand you have is indeed a Park Tool stand. PRS-2. I believe it had red grips..at least at one time. Red grips mean we made it for Schwinn with their brand on it. The one you have would have to be from the 70's some time if the grips and coating on the clamp is red.
-The BT-2 was an early version of a fourth hand for pulling cables tight, usually on brakes.
-The spoke gauge ruler is still made today (SBC-1) but the numbers are stamped into the aluminum. No longer printed
-The little 3-way Y wrench SDY-1 was probably made in the late 80's
-PTS-1 Park Tire Seater. WE still make these although slightly different. Not sure why but we used "P" as a first letter on a lot of things back in the day. PRS, PCS etc. All for Park. We make 15 different models of repairs stands now and they all still start with P.
WE've used a bunch of different fonts for logos and part numbers over the years. The scripted one was just us trying to be fancy. Now we have consistent logo and font standards so most everything is consistent unless there just isn't space for our real logo either horizontal or the classic sprocket logo.
The PCS-1 stand you have is the latest version of the PCS-1. The stand was basically the same but we changed colors, logos, clamps and even the way it went up and down over the years....yet we still called it a PCS-1 for some reason. Last time we made those was around 2002. First model was in about 1987.
Fun to to see all the old stuff along with some current tools. We've made a lot of changes over the years and keep adding to the line. Now over 500 tools!
    Thanks for showing us around!
    Eric Hawkins

      Hey Eric!
Great to hear from you and thank you for so much insight!!! All of that helps understand everything that we weren’t quite sure of so much better.
The history Park Tool has is amazing, maybe that’s a topic for a future video for you guys?
Also, thank you all for having me, I am so proud to work with everyone at Park Tool!!

I have some of these, plus some older ones yet from my bike shop days. I never thought they were of any interest to anyone. Maybe I need to do a garage tour of my own.??

Still use my PCS-1. Got it in 1999, still going strong. Also, my chain tool is the CT-3, not the CT-3.2 in the vid and the cable cutters like the 2nd pair are still in use. All bought when I worked in a bike shop and started to build my own tool kit.

I do like Parktool, mostly because they are specialized on bike tools and make on for everything. And of course the resources on their website.
But to say the qualitity of the tools is the best and that they last forever???
It's not China cheap, but it is definitely not Hazet, Gedore or Stahlwille quality.
Look at the bearing ball gauge - due to the number just being printed on there you can't read them anymore after using it a lot.
The video was fun to watch though...

At 4:19 is that what's known as "the third hand"? I saw the 3rd hand back in the 90's and was told its for brake cables.

3:37 is actually a brake tool. Not a derailleur tool.

Back when park made fairly decent quality tools, rather than the overpriced junk of today

Lol, I just don't rate park tool at all, the videos are great, the way they make you think they're the best tools is fantastic, unfortunately the tools are average, with a lot of rebranded cheap stuff where they've stuck a bit of blue plastic on it and bump the price up.
Unior make better tools, check them out and compare the quality with park.
You said you loved the park crescent wrench, try a Bahco and again see the difference between the two( Bahco make tools for snap on, and actually invented the crescent wrench)

Since 10 mm wrenches have a nasty habit of disappearing I suspect your keychain/opener will fall victim to the same fate.

From the days they probably did make reasonable tools not the overpriced junk they import in,paint blue and hike the price now
Unior tools are better quality and make park look cheap and nasty
