You can use Copper to make a Spyglass, which is basically just vanilla zoom, so if you want to keep it, then that’s fine, up there is a vanilla alternative.

Edit: honestly, I think it’d be better if you just kept it vanilla. Maybe a few simple mods like a mini-maps, etc but nothing too drastic. Keeping it vanilla kinda adds to the casual relaxed feel

That's what I'd be interested in. Mods that don't change the game a lot, and keep it mostly vanilla. Mainly textures, shaders, or quality of life mods. Nothing that really adds stuff to the game, since I'm trying to focus on all the new vanilla stuff they added since 1.16

I think some mods that you should use is: a Dynamic Lights mod (So offhand torchs light the area), Iris (for Shaders), Lituium (for Performance); both of these are made for Sodium. for Shaders: BSL, Complementary, or Super Duper Vanilla.

6:20 donkeys cannot be controlled directly if i remember correctly, it has to be leashed, and that one slot isn't a saddle, it's a chest.
11:12 you can actually hold shift and click craft, which immediately crafts as many things as it can, don't use it when crafting tools unless you want an inventory of diamond hoes or something.
14:24 hitting things while falling indeed still does crits

Also, helpful tip: if you eat even if your food bar is almost full, you gain additional Saturation effect that lasts until you lose some health, so you won't lose any food and regenerate health faster:)
