if some of yall dont want to do all of this and just want to make some goofy stuff here is a little tutorial 1.make the hud and psyhgun invisible 2.make a scene 3.place a camera and record the scene in obs 4.repeat 3 until all your scenes are done 5.use an editing program to make a video out of your scenes (only down side is that you can move only 1 thing at a time and the animation looks like shit)

Hello, watch the part at 6:26 you want to make sure to choose File Format: FFmpeg Video and at 6:33 change Container to: MPEG-4. This should hopefully render your video in a .mp4 format. hey man i haven't figured out one thing.and that is how to make someone shoot a gun,lets say i want a spy to shoot a gun so i pose him and all and then..idk how to hide the muzzle or shooting effect before the spy start shooting the gun.
Hello, what you could try to do is in this tutorial, when taking screenshots: put a muzzle flash on the gun when spy shoots. For example: You have your 2 poses and at the part when spy shoots give the gun a muzzle flash. Once screenshot is done get rid of the muzzle flash and continue making screenshots. The biggest advantage for blender's video editing is that its free and very easy to install through steam. Other video editors like "Vegas Pro", "Adobe Premiere Pro", "Vegas Movie Studio" and "Movavi Video Editor Plus" costs money. Blender's video editing works a bit different than Vegas Pro's video editing but Blender is still capable of doing a great job for editing video's. It is up to you which video editor you choose. I choose blender for this video because its the easiest to get currently.

Try restarting Gmod and see if that helps. If not, open the SMH menu and go to "Settings" and make sure "Don't animate phys bones" is unchecked. If this is unchecked you should still be able to record poses except the green outline doesn't show up. Try creating 2 poses as shown in the video and see if it works. You need to have Team Fortress 2 installed in order to gain access to the models, weapons, levels or hats. Once installed, you will be able to find the models in the spawnmenu. If you have any problems please let me know :)

Hi, follow the steps at 6:05 you can tell Blender where it should save your video's. If you forgot to do this Blender should save your video's in your Windows C:\tmp location file To render your video be sure to choose MPEG 4 at: 6:35 once that's done follow the step at 11:10 to render your video If you need more help please let me know

In order to record the animation you will need a recording program like OBS, FRAPS or ShadowPlay. I would have to teach them how to setup OBS for gmod. I would still highly recommend recording it instead of doing screenshots.

you can use a walker dupe to make ragdolls walk,there is lots of tutorials on it if you want to mix screenshot animating and recording together.

That's the way I currently animate my animations, but not everyone has obs studio.
you dont need to screen shot use a keyblind for smh_playback and screen record it!

Face poser is a tool within gmod itself. Open the spawnmenu with Q look for posing to the right of the spawnmenu then click on face poser.

At 6:25 change the file format to "FFmpeg Video" then at 6:37 change the container to "MPEG 4". This should render your video into a MP4 video.

Why do you need to make it like a stop motion? The whole point of SMH is so you don’t have to do it like this.
