@Huzzah931 All out aggressive push? Not expected? Let's take a quick look at their line up. Veno/sylla/furion isn't a pushing line up is it...bfury and midas were really dumb choices this game, especially without a team that can't turtle that well. AM was pretty much useless when he had bfury/midas/vlads, he could have easily had vanguard and almost manta by that stage, and they could easily end the game there. You can't buy those items and expect to beat a syllabear midgame.
SB played under heavy lag so after got ganked and failed to rush radi on bear, they chose to build heavy tank for push strat. avoided ganks then won team fights were their solution. Even though, bm and wr played extremely well, but they were lack of nuke to clear creep waves and brought down tanky heroes on SB side. Plus am was useless for like 30 mins because he free farmed but wrong item selection, didnt go for any survivability so he easily died under focus fired by SB
@JawidM but not fast enough. to outcarry/stop a syllabear mid-game, you need a fucking full set. You just won't get that till like 40 mins at least...AM was borderline useless at the 20 minute mark, yeah he had bfury, midas and vlads, but is paper thin and deals very small damage, and not useful enough to help stop those pushes. A vang/manta AM in this case would have been far better, or even Bfury BKB, but not 3 items which together are useless.
Agreed. Am epic failed items. radiance is useless and vlad's should have been gotten by rexxar instead. SB's picks were incredibly flexible, making them capable of playing late game or push whereas Mith failed in not taking heroes that have AoE skills to clear creeps and counter pushes
@IceQueenSexica midas wasn't a good choice clearly, SB were obviously going to push midgame, very heavily too..either vang/manta or bfury/bkb would have been the right choice, not fucking bfury/midas/vlads...and with vangaurd the illusions are tank enough to take a hit or two, enough for them to deal quite a bit of damage thanks to mana burn. Whether it would of won them the game to run vang/manta or bkb/bfury i dunno, but his item choice was really really bad..
-_-' really ...I dont think so, the key thing is totally about the style. MitH.Trust always play 4-5 and leave one "very late" hero to keep money and you know this Anti mage is a great player. He's actually one of the best carry players in this time (rapid farming and fantastic last-shot skills). In my view, this game SB did well in the middle game and tried to close the 2nd rack as fast as they can. Finally, they deserve what they did with good plan.

I never get bored with SB. Their play style is really flexible and fit with any situation.

Syllabear is the anti-AntiMage because of fortitude and Bear's Roots. That's why SB could counter Anti Mage and won that match.
