    👍 I'm lazier than you 😳I just keep my hair in corn rows(no extensions)& keep them in for 2 months at a time, wash my hair weekly. And wear a wig(no glue). It grows like weeds. Long & thick(& I'm not mixed).

      😂 Like weed 🤣🤣🤣. No but for real. I can attest to this method working. The only downside for me was that I lost my edge's while the rest grew. 😑I think that there's something in not manipulating it constantly that's helpful.

    Justv wet the ends regularly and put some oil at the ends to stop it breaking off. That is not difficult with long hair,

    I love your honesty! You relate to many of us women out there, which makes your channel successful. You tell it how it is. Afro hair can be a struggle sometimes, especially when some individuals may not have enough money to maintain hair with products, have a family to look after, stress and work etc. Many blessings to you, sister. Keep doing what you're doing, and you will go far Amen 🙌🙏❤️❤️❤️🙏🙌

    Hey 👋😊 Girl, can you please share some type 4 hairstyles

    • @ashleydidit
      @ashleydidit  2 роки тому +3

      Oooh idk if I’m the best candidate for this. I’m more of a “protective style, tuck my hair away” type of gal. Maybe in the future, but I don’t wanna make any promises

    Girl thank you so much!!! I have the exact same problem as you...my hair DOES NOT grow fast like at all! I feel you on being a lazy natural and this video is EVERYTHING I have been looking for on UA-cam. YOU GO GIRL!!

    I love your transparency. Thank you. Quick question, what camera & lens do you use?

    • @ashleydidit
      @ashleydidit  2 роки тому +3

      I use a Samsung NX500 and a 1.8 Samsung lens. I don’t really recommend this camera for UA-cam though. FCPX has trouble understanding anything from this camera.

    I do 3 months or less with my wash day I just whatever protective style I'm doing I keep try to keep my scalp clean and moisturize but washing my scalp or wetting my hair is to much work I do or wash my hair when I miss it and when I'm ready to go through that process. Which is 3 months or less 😐🙁 I have been doing it for years and my hair grows like crazy. I'm trying out the cardi b hair mask I'm excited to see what that would do to my hair. Will it make it grow faster or will it not is the question for me.

    I feel you about being a lazy natural hair person! My hair doesn’t grow fast either. My lucky daughter’s hair does…☹️

    I just do shampoo, conditioner (both from tresemme silk and smooth - i think it's called) and then grease (palmers) lool, I also have a BOMB deep condition called crece pelo - protein in it so also used as protein treatment (keep in for 5 to 15 mins) - and then leave it alone for... the next time.. whenever that is 👀👀👀👀👀💀💀
    Icl tho, even though my hair is growing... idk how to do the pineapple 💀 I think I've been doing it wrong and my arms hurt so I give up LOOLL
    Often I put a headscarf on, all the time when I'm out. People, find some styles you like and materials you like!

      I really like anything from the JBCO line from Shea Moisture. I like Cantu specifically for their leave-in and gel. But I also have dry scalp so peppermint shampoo from the Eden brand is great too. But of course, anyone can share their favs in the comments. Not just me
