- Today I'm sharing my tips for looking your best in photos. I show you how to prepare for and pose during three different types of photoshoots: couples, corporate, and glam. I hope these tips help you feel confident and comfortable the next time you are photographed.

I did modeling many many years ago and the best images were the ones that the photographer took on ' candid camera', without poses just, " be yourself pose". Those were the best images I have till this day. 👍🏽😊

As someone who spends such a significant amount of time in front of the camera, being photographed, your recommendations, and suggestions are so valuable, and greatly appreciated, Dominique! Thanks for using your varied experiences, as key points to illustrate the different ways in which to capture the true essence of ourselves from varying perspectives, and settings. Tim, and I will be together twenty years this summer, but we have never had a formal, or professional photo shoot done of ourselves; after seeing your video, I am thinking that the time to do it is this year! For some reason, our costumed shots taken at Halloween, our 'King & Queen' dress up day at The Renaissance Festival, or the shots at the Fall Fair as 'The Trapper and the Aboriginal Woman' were never the pictures of us that my parents kept requesting! Neither was the recent caricature drawing we sat for at Christmas, either! Now that I have gained more confidence doing updated, and age-appropriate make up techniques thanks to watching your make up tutorials, and others I found on You Tube, I think I will use the valuable advice that you shared to successfully book, and sit for a shoot at this, the twenty year mark of our relationship! Thank for all the great tips for taking beautiful photos...I suppose it helps to be beautiful people to begin with! LOL. I think that's why candid photos are some of my favorite. They are so natural. I love taking photos of people doing everyday things when they don't realize a photo is being taken.

This video has helped me at several outdoor photoshoots lately! And indoor lighting as well! Lifesaver and answered prayer. I watch it again every shoot, I would LOVE more in outdoor natural, but sturdy products, and lighting and coverage mistakes with skin and makeup in film or still shots! It is very dry here, and I wear hats as mch as possible, but doing outdoors, I have found many sunscreened products and setting powders can leave marks on outdoor shots, as well as sting one's eyes,, from sunblocks and sweat. BRILLIANT timing and video, thanks so much!

I am way older then you, but I have learned so many things. I enjoy your videos so much. Just got into watching "you tube" this past few months. I found you the other day and I love them. I lost a lot of weight over the past years. I am trying to give myself a makeover outside and inside. I have worked fast food all my life. So before I leave this world I want to try and impress myself " no one else " just myself!. Guess that sounds odd but with the time I have left I just want to try and become a butterfly . I took my first step a couple weeks ago and I had my hair cut. I get up every morning and say something positive to myself and fix my new hairdo. Not sure what is next that I will do for myself but I do know watching and learning from your videos is definitely always on the list. Thanks so much for posting them and sorry this is so long.
