I agree with you. I think he misinterpreted the answer. Most people think of being moral or having morals as being a goody two shoes or being "perfect" when in reality it isn't. Kendrick displayed his morals throughout the battle and in the interview. Drake attacked first and Kendrick told him to keep it friendly but Drake being Drake he just couldn't do that. Morally, as a man, Kendrick did what he was supposed to do which is defend his family first and foremost. Had he not done that then I could see that being a contradiction of his morality. That's why we got Meet the Grahams and Not Like Us because he was defending his family while also calling out all of the immoral stuff Drake does and stands for. Sometimes people want to have an argument or be right so bad that they don't see what's right in front of them. Kendrick gave the perfect answer because that literally is what the song is about.
I think deleted is just bothered because he didn't get the answer he wanted/expected. Kendrick wrote the song, if he says that's what it means then that's what it means.
I like the lifestyle interview. I’m actually happy I got an opportunity to see another side of Kendrick. All of these artists are more than the picture they regularly portray and it’s nice to see other sides of them. ‘Not like us’ means something different for me- I’m a ✊🏾🇺🇸freedman and related to the “slavery references. Some would disagree with my take, and that’s okay. I think by the way the song was accepted - it means something different to different people, and again that is okay. Kendrick’s response to that question was not unexpected to me, after all he gave us MM and the BS. I think the song itself explains itself. IMO. When Kendrick interviews with hip hop media I would expect hip hop questions and answers. I love the song, and still play it almost every day. Salute to Kendrick!!
I love your videos and I think he took it wrong, too. Kendrick been saying to Drake this whole time, “stand down, don’t push me.” Drake crossed him after he warned him. I feel like Drake was the one poking the bear and started throwing out accusations first. Anyway, I don’t think this interview makes him a contradiction. He is saying he sleeps good at night and makes sure he lives by his morals. I wish he would’ve read the ENTIRE interview and not just parts of it because he is actually very philosophical about his approach to his answers. I’m just not seeing the contradiction tho.
At first I was, but not after his previous video on Drake where he took a break from talking about Drake to start giving Kendrick advice on how he can make his music better in the future. Lol! [Deleted]’s GOAT is Kanye, to an extreme. Lol. Watch his videos on Kanye. Most people who like Pop Hip Hop Artist like Drake, Travis, Kanye, etc think lyrical and conscious rappers like Cole and Kendrick are boring and can only tolerate so much of their music. Cole dissed Kanye on “False Prophets,” so he thinks Cole is terrible, and dissed Cole far worst than all of them in other videos, which was hilarious, and automatically assumes Kendrick is primarily dissing Cole more than Drake.
I think he's trippin too! I honestly think what ppl REALLY mad about is, he really didn't go into the beef itself or mentioning Drake period. Ppl are expecting Kendrick to double down on a beef he clearly won. This beef is behind Kendrick at this point, unless Drake wants to be stupid and diss him again. As far as Drake being petty and throwing lil subliminals here and there, is not going to trigger Kendrick anymore. When Kendrick said, "there is no round 2's" that's what he meant. Drake does not live rent free in his head and that's what they're truly upset about!.
Kendricks people also tweeted they're leaving the Canadian alone now. Kendrick been on his radio silence, Not Like Us was his most straightforward disstrack it spoke for itself. Why would Kendrick throw subs or outright shade in that interview?
@@georgeojoje4045 I hated on Cole when I reacted to PORT ANTONIO, then someone requested that I react to his Cole video and I agree with everything he said about Cole.
@@AprilGShowers well I don't. You have your views and that's okay but I am not gonna switch up on Cole like he did some Diddy stuff. I won't talk about him like he's a terrible human being. When the fall off drops the community will switch up and glaze Cole again when Kendrick goes radio silent like he did before Mr morales. Cole is a good friend who stood for both Drake and Kendrick before they hit milestone in their respective careers and hasn't requested anything in return since, I have no good reason to hate him, it's just a narrative put on him because the internet is sick of hating drake.
No. He's not people don't like the definition of not like us. ,His definition when asked a question. He's not contradicted at all because love and war can live together, Gabriel. It does it every day. I don't know about you, but it do with me. I'm a loving caring person. Chill to the max but I got war with me. You come from my family. You aint gonna know that relaxed. Female that you used to looking at ,you gonna see satan yourself. At once I don't live on my wallpath and completed my mission about my family. I'm done with it. I don't hyper and live in that reality every singlupdate. That's the truest form of love and war. It speaks on the same thing in the Bible.

Agree. It is not unexpected that Kendrick, and many of us pursue morality, but in some circumstances fall short.
Deleted is part of the party that needs to end.
That’s right kdot!!! Keep up the growth😊
He said what he said..
Everything is not always about Drake!
@deleted he totally missed the mark on this one. In fact deleted is the one that’s contradictory in this video
Definitely tripping.
Many feel the same he missed the whole interview and what he wanted him to say. He's a contradiction 😅😅
yes he’s tripping fr fr

I'm actually surprised at how way off Deleted is on this one.

The fact the people use his material to hate on J. Cole was enough for me

Was he supposed to speak drakes name in a fashion magazine ? He answered maturely.
I truly like your channel, but it’s very difficult listening to some of these other channels…
