@@LalodysLore I do agree there, but Light Cones are, in canon, moments of the past of characters, so if Argenti says he never met Idrila in person it stands to reason that it isn't them. Maybe it was an emanator of beauty or a dream of his, i don't really know, but not Idrila

The rose on her wrist is the same as the one that is wrapped around the spear, and she is faceless, just like the statue behind Argenti in his splashart. Either way, she was intentionally depicted with white hair by the artists at Hoyo, so the point in the video still stands imo.
Thank you for this video! I read all this lore as I cleared Swarm Disaster, but it took so long to unlock each piece that I was only reading snippets of lore in isolation. Also, I finished it long enough ago that I forgot everything but the core details (like Ena being absorbed into Xipe, and that the Swarm was defeated by the Aeons working together). I hadn't realized how much it connects with Penacony! In particular, I'm really fascinated by the hints that Ena was willingly transmuted into Xipe by Qlipoth, and that Tazzyronth is also part of the Harmony. Revisiting Preservation II with more knowledge of Penacony, it seems very, very likely that this is what happened. I think the choice of Xipe as a namesake makes far more sense if they were indeed created via sacrifice. It also helps explain why the Swarm seems weirdly related to Penacony (like with Tiernan supposedly being destroyed by it there). It's kind of crazy that more people in the fandom haven't picked up on this. You mentioned in one of these videos that Aha probably created Tazzyronth--do you have a reference for the story that discusses this? I would like to read more! If I can give some constructive feedback: I think a shorter version of these videos might also be SUPER helpful. A lot of people will probably miss this series because people are hesitant to click on long videos by a smaller creator. I think a video summarizing the main events of SU--particularly what the Aeons were doing, and your theory about Xipe---would be incredibly useful! I know my friends won't watch this whole series, but I might be able to get them to watch a 20 minute summary video. Thanks again, and great work!

Well, technically, if we take Path as a concept, then we can see from Ena's description that THEIR "order" was more of a "control". Empires've been rising, developing and falling within THEIR "order". The concet of Beauty though - a completely human trait - might really dilute that "control" in "order". I mean, nobody with a sense of beauty as we normal people see it will call the destruction of a civilisation by some "order" a beautiful thing. So "beauty" dilutes and softens "order" (so we're kinda getting "harmony" already?) and "propagation" makes it an ever-spreading concept, hungering to cover everything. Then the question is, why HooH remained as a sole thing? "Equilibrium" as a concept might be quite harsh just like "order" since it will force something good to be destroyed at some point to restore some kind of balance, and there's no "harmony" in it. Why weren't THEY incorporated in Harmony too to be diluted and softened? Harmony and Equilibrium are kinda oppose each other now no? I smell a huge conspiracy here somehow. And this conspiracy is coming from some thoughts about Leviathans. Most likely they're trash thoughts but who knows. If HoYo will continue to re-tell HI3 (there are spoilers ahead), Leviathan (a. k. a. Ouroboros) is a direct reference to the World Serpent (a. k. a. Jormungandr, a Leviathan by its nature). And as we know, the World Serpent is not a completely evil organization, on the contrary, it's an organization with a totally inhuman plan to actually save hunanity from Honkai by sacrifising 99% of pepole because their Natural Stigma cannot be restored in their genes, and with Natural Stigmata people will come to harmony with Honkai as Natural Stigma is a product and a mean to channel powers of Imaginary Tree itself (i might be wrong on that, correct me if needed). So it's still an option to save humanity but not humans. Also, in some interpretations Leviathan is the barrier between reality and... well, divine? In kinda encapsulates material from contacting divine. If we merge this two things... could it be so Leviathan is a viscious but true solution for universe to ascend to Imaginary? I mean, some rare individuals being devoured by Leviathan will ascend to the root of the Hoyoverse itself? And Qlipoth as a "guardian" of the current order is doing everything to stop it and preserve humanity within its current state with all its flaws (though he's called "the most indifferent Aeon" but by who? And maybe individual events of mortals really don't concern him since he's doing a fundamental job). Probably it doesn't make any sense and Leviathan is just a local representation of Honkai that must be beaten to free Universe from inevitable end. We'll know... probably... in a three or four years... or not...
I think you're on a similar train of thought to me, though note that in Gnosticism the leviathan will devour you if you fail to pass. Ideally, the plan is to avoid being devoured and I think a lot of aeons actually strive towards this goal, with Qlipoth being the most obvious. Perhaps the individual paths are methods of ascending towards the goal of beating the leviathan and escaping. I was theorising that it might be a race to ascend first, and that the others might have been threatened by Ena. Alternatively, equilibrium is the force we use to enter harder difficulties, which reminds me of heavenly calamities that Chinese immortals and gods face to enter next stages of ascension. I don't know if this has much basis, but perhaps the swarm was set up to be something like this for Ena? I'm not sure, but there's much to contemplate with the context of Hoyoverse's biggest inspirations. Would strongly recommend reading about gnosticism cause there's a lot of juicy context for all of their games.

Yeah I thought his little cameo on Penacony was funny since he didnt have much connection to the main plot but honestly it could imply that Idrila is connected

( Spoilers for 2.2 !!!!! ) Thank you for the video, this was really fun to watch! Out of curiosity, what do you think the Choir stuff here implies for Sunday and Robin (esp w/ recent 2.2 events?) I’ve been agonizing over them because I want them to be together again so badly… To me, the conversation with Robin post “fall” implies that she’s accepted their differences to an extent & still considers it their “shared” dream to build a paradise. She didn’t seem to want to be separate from him at all. Sunday, though, seems to have long accepted their differences prior to this (he never tried to force her to agree with him, never asked her to perform regardless etc, just kept her safe) but after, he seems very convinced they can’t “fly” together, because he can’t. Ngl, even if they’re doomed, I’d really not want them to end up hating each other, I want them to rescue each other :( Anyway, sorry for rambling! Your videos really helped me cope with my brainrot about them, lol. I love the Idrila theory.
Sorry for the late reply, youtube has stopped giving me comment notifs... I want to wait for 2.3 because I'm almost certain this is not the end of the story, especially because we got another credit roll which only happens on bad endings. I do have a lot of thoughts about them in general. Loved the confirmation that the ritualistic sacrifice of a twin sibling is done periodically for the festival, and that the remnants of the choir are present in the memoria which makes it much more likely that the events in SU took place in the Asdana system. I view Sunday to someone who was groomed and led astray by Gopher Wood. Most of the stuff he recited about Ena was wrong, even down to people celebrating their death. I won't say too much on this now, but I feel like is not the end for Sunday. Don't forget, Jesus returned 3 days later, and Sunday crucified himself in his self-sacrifice to allow the people to be in heaven. I feel like a lot of this patch was a misdirection, but we'll see.
Okay I might be TOTALLY off with this but what if the third part/face or Xipe is Aha? I mean, from what I understand, if we heard the thundering laugh of Aha while the sounds of Propagation and and Order mixed to make Ena, could that mean they gave a bit of themselves into the mixture too? Plus like, with Aha being all about joy and entertainment: well, take a look at Penacony! Harmony’s all for joy and stuff!

Did I got it?
Damn that Xipe's "parts" theory is good. And we're said to have Argenti in future events on Penacony. I can't bevieve HoYo locked all this lore behind the most boring and repetitive content in the game huh.
