That one vacuum line that runs to the little solenoid next to the coil pack is for fuel pressure regulator solenoid, not for the tach. It supposedly helps with vapor lock and hot starts but I deleted it and never had an issue. There is a boost/vacuum sensor (black box) near the coil pack that operates the bars on the digital dash, I'd keep that
My A/C deletes are usually a product of cutting something and "accidentally" chopping a freon line lol. Idk what a shop charges to purge an A/C system but careless "accidents" are free and once it's done it's done. It'd be nice if there were more environmentally friendly options but when u live in the sticks and the car isn't running it severely reduces one's choices in the matter. Power steering is one that I love deleting cuz it makes everyone avoid trying to drive my car. Some AN fittings and a length of braided hose...maybe an in-line fluid reservoir too if I'm feeling frisky lol. One thing I've never done is a harness tuck tho, it always seemed silly cuz I don't show off the engine and if I do pop the hood it's because i have to fix something lol. Nice work btw man that looks great!
Thank you SO much for this video! I will start with the deletes later on this year and this video gives me more ideas of how it all works. Thanks again!
What exactly does the idler pulley do? My AC on my '88 NA 2+2 is broken anyway I just am wondering what else the idler pulley is for on the VG30 before I take that whole belt assembly off.
Kinda late, I also have an na 88 2+2 and all the wheel does is spin with the compressor. If you're deleting AC, you can pull it and the entire bracket off. It will also make servicing the timing belt slightly easier.
After all the deletes there is a vacuum port underneath the brake booster port on the intake. If I cap it off the car won't run at all. Where does it go?
I agree but I don't know how you made it run I've been having trouble finding a computer for my 85 300ZX it's non sorboro if you find what can you please let me know thank you nice work on your 300
Follow the tube that goes into the exhaust under the car and take off everything it attaches to. Weld the exhaust shut and block off all hard lines going to and from it.
You have the pcv system backwards as you should have the breather filter on the drivers side and the hose going to the pcv valve on the passenger side.
PCV valve on passenger side goes into plenum. The crank vent on passenger side is positive and the hose goes into the plenum for emission reasons. The driver side forces air from the intake into the crank case and the other side releases pressure via returning to plenum. Mine is set up correctly check out some other Z's with this mod done
I have a stock 87T with every option. It's ridiculous looking - like a bowl of spaghetti with plastic boxes and canister for meat balls. Good job!

so do you know what delete made your car stop running?
What’s the size of the intake?

Does the way you run the turbo coolant lines cause them not to function anymore ?
Do you get check engine light when you decided those things

Will this be the same for a 84 non turbo
Do you still have the power steering pump, bracket and bolts?
On the egr delete how did you get rid of the studs?
Are u still replying to comments ? Have some questions….
Why delete the carbon canister? It doesn't effect performance.
Weight
Got little chicken arms you might wanna keep that lmaoooo , imma delete it now cause of that

Both wrong you should either have breathers on both or the pipes on both. Otherwise you have a vacuum leak due to the unmetered air.
@@legendkiler619 thank you! I'll slap another breather on and block that pipe from the intake. Good to know, thank you sir
"Zed" 🙄
Can you please change the title of this video.. you copied the one I've had up forever. Thank you
You're the worst 😂
