HOW TO MAKE A GIANT MARSHMALLOW! | Kayla Davis

Today was a blast! I end up making a giant marshmallow and do several tests on it to see if it can float in a pool or be smashed on the ground. It turned out so yummy! Instructions on how to make one are below.
Instructions:
(You will have to multiply these ingredients by 6 to make a marshmallow like mine.)
Mix 3 packets of Knox gelatin with 1/2 cup of cold water and mix with a whisk.
In a separate saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of water, 1 1/2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of corn syrup, 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Cook on medium heat stirring constantly until the mixture reaches 240 degrees F.
Combine the two mixtures and whip for about 15 minutes until fluffy. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract during whipping. (You can add food color too.)
Pour whipped cream into any pot or pan that is covered with cooking spray on the inside. Let stand for a 4 hours minimum or overnight to turn into a yummy marshmallow.
Coat a cutting board or hard surface with confectioners' sugar to place the marshmallow on, then cover the rest of your marshmallow with the confectioners' sugar. DONE!
