I just realized he does get open numerous times in the song but then closes off the sound alot too I'm thinking it's just a hunch that he only had Teachers/Coaches that taught him very strict things instead of exploring and eliminating the closed off sounds like closing off a sound is as easy as applying stress/tension to any muscle that deals with the vocals internally even externally like how he was holding his belly in as an example! The mosquito buzz sound is a half closed off hum with worded air going through all he has to do is open up the jaw a lil more soften his palet relax the throat move his arms away from his belly relax body and shoulders and eyebrows up and everything below the neck gravitates towards the Earth I can Guarantee these instructions would make it impossible or very hard to accidentally run into those sounds ugh or buzzing sounds ;) "Open and Free" I am taught as an Opera/ Classical/ Contemporary Singer to do all these things and soon gonna look into www.thesingingzone.com/video/0314b well I did look into it but never like went into courses because what this guy does is similar to what I do :3
