Harvesting Barley and Canola, Supplying Straw for Farming Essentials | La Coronella | FS 22 | ep #36

Welcome back to the La Coronella Farm Timelapse. First, we complete the harvesting operation in the other barley field. Upon completion, we relocate our harvester to the recently acquired canola field and commence the canola harvest. The harvested canola crop is then transported to a processing facility for oil extraction.
In order to gather straw from the fields, we prepare a FENDT 942 Vario tractor equipped with a front rake and a baler. A second tractor, the McCormick X8.627 VT-Drive, is equipped with an ANDERSON RBM2000 bale handler and operates alongside the first tractor to pick up the bales. Moving forward, we distribute the collected straw bales to meet various needs on our farm.
Some of the bales are delivered to on-farm storage, while others are unloaded into a feed mixer. Additionally, a portion of the straw bales is loaded into a composter for further processing.
