THANK YOU SO MUCH! This happened to my sister's phone and I thought she got moisture in it so I put it rice. That didn't work so I just looked this up and BAM! LIFE SAVER!

Putting your phone is rice will do nothing to remove moisture. If your phone ever gets mositure inside, you're supposed to remove the battery then put the phone in the FREEZER overnight. This will turn any internal mositure to ice and unblock the circuits. Then put it in the sun. This will evaporate the ice so that it dosn't turn back into water. After the phone is hot to the touch because it's been sitting in the sun, but the battery back in and turn it on. It will start as if it never had water inside!
