Sometimes rose will train at my gym and during class, il catch a glimpse of her shadowboxing and her feet are always in position to get a technique off. It's so dope

@@jamesmihaley423 Mate Rose was KO’ed by Andrade and barely beat her in the rematch. Andrade couldn’t even touch Valentina. I love Rose but she’s not even close to Valentina’s level
@@benlewis5312 Rose KO'ed herself in a fight she was destroying Andrade in by hanging onto her during the slam. Rematch was closer tho, Andrade was doing that weird Parkinson's bobble head thing which threw Rose off. That said, Valentina kills her I think.

Rose has never even fought above her natural weight class. Val has won 88% of her fights, which includes a highly disputed "loss" to Amanda Nunes in their second fight. Definitely trained hard for the skilled, they both have enough power and technique to drop most people. Leg kicks to the head will do it. Beautiful is subjective but I agree they are and their training and attitude makes them even more attractive imo.

Everyone else told me Zhang not only had a chance, but was by far the favourite… even though she barely beat JJ (and some would argue she even lost), yet Valentina demolished her (more than once).

Yeah this at least a year old. This was filmed at the 303 Training Center, my old stomping grounds. Rose no longer trains there. Whittman and that whole crew are all officially Team Elevation now.

This was rose's training camp for joanna back in early 2017 just coming off of the Michelle win, and I believe at this time Valentina was preparing for the Amanda rematch or Pena i forget, but rose and 303 were helping Valentina with her grappling, and Valentina and her coach were helping rose with muay thai. It was a win win for both of them. This was the only time they have ever trained together though. I feel like a lot of people think they're actually training partners, It was just for their camps.

God, I can’t describe the thrill of watching two legends of MMA spar and love each other like that. Their love and support for each other sums up the type of humans they are. In MMA, they are my two favorite fighters because of their skill, dedication, and I’m not afraid to say it - their beauty.

@@IonWrestler this is old footage. This was literally the week of Rose's fight with Joanna, she literally says it at the end of the video. Valentina just seems like she spars unnecessarily hard to be honest, especially considering ROSE is the one who had the fight coming up

the close-in camera really highlights the power of these "little women" they hit like guys AND they are sparring!
At one time I cringed watching females fight - NOT because they were female but rather often times in the past most weren't technical strikers and were so sloppy (boxing/mma/kickboxing, etc.) But now the amount of technical skill displayed amongst women from Gina Carano (THE FIRST lady of mma - f*ck what ya heard) to Clarissa Shields, Amanda Serrano,Tiffany Van Soest, Thug Rose to Valentina - they are on par w/the men, some of them even more technical than some guys. It's beautiful to see. These girls (Namajunas and Valentina) looked SOOO good and sharp and you could tell they were getting after it. Great video :-)

Valentina looks like the sharper fighter, uses more of her skills and I think Rose ended up with a black eye.Glad she won against Zhang but just like Rose's first fight with Joanna and the second fight were totally different it could end up being the same in the second fight with Zhang.
I think it was fluke that Rose beat Weili so quick. If the fight went on I think it would've been much closer with Weili possibly taking the W. With that said, fuck communism
Sure, she's probably the sharper fighter in her division, but doesn't seem able to endure wars the same way Joanna and Weili do.

And I was also inferring that just because 2 fighters have an all out war doesn't have anything to do with skill. If you take 2 fighters that aren't skilled, but they have heart and grit, it makes for an amazingly satisfying fight. They don't need skill for that. They could be skilled, but they don't have to be. Joanna and Weili are very skilled. If Valentina fought Rose and finished her in the first 30 seconds (not saying that she would), it wouldn't be an all out war. It would be a display of skill. That's why all out wars and skills are completely unrelated
