I would LOVE to see you react to more Gloryhammer! You should start with The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee, it's the very first song on their first album, and kicks off the entire story. There are many little secrets and lore tidbits in many of the songs and discovering those along the way is one of the coolest things about the Gloryhammer albums. Love the enthusiasm!
I will most definitely be hanging out lol. When I first heard GH i heard the third album and didn’t know there was more so I spent a week or two theorizing about what it could possibly mean 💀
I love Gloryhammer, they're so much fun. I've only just realised you reacted to them. A really great song is Wasteland Warriors Hoots Patrol, it's really fun lol. As you said the keyboard player is also lead vocalist in Alestorm, they are soo much fun too, odd but fun lol. Just to add Gloryhammer and Alestorm are Scottish, not English. Great reaction Dane... 🤘🤘
That one is next in my list actually. I'm struggling wanting to react to Angus McSix because of the fallout, but I keep hearing food things about the album. I think I will just cause, good music is good music
@DaneBramageROCKS yeah it seems like a bitter split, I haven't heard any of Angus McSix songs yet but I believe a couple of the songs take a dig at Gloryhammer, even the band name is taking a dig. I had the same feeling about Beast in Black after the Anton split from Battle Beast. Anton wanted full control, his ego had already caused their original singer Nitte to quit the band (the official reason was family issues, but in interviews since it has been revealed Anton was the cause), and his ego was about to rip the band apart. Thankfully all the songs he wrote were owned by the band and not Anton himself, the first song on Beast in Blacks debut album has a pop at Battle Beast. When I finally listened to them though I loved them, I now had 2 bands that I loved. Battle Beast though are much better live. Noora kills it, while Yannis struggles to sing live like he does in the studio... 🤘🤘
nooo! My comment from a few days ago is gone again 🥲 I'll add the song title list here again I only wanted to let you know that I've been coming back to check in every day now, to see If you've uploaded another Gloryhammer reaction yet. I just can't wait 😅 But the lack of views this video still has makes me sad. Also, this is by far the best Gloryhammer reaction I've seen up to this day. I can clearly see how much fun you had with this song. I love that you were totally invested in finding out about the storyline and characters from the little things you have in this music video alone. Many of the reactors I've watched don't care too much about the story, which I think is the best part about this band. Gloryhammer is not intended to be taken seriously, it's just a fun adventure to save the galaxy from an evil wizard of chaos. They somehow managed to combine fantasy with sci-fi and I'm so living for it! I also wanted to explain where Fly Away takes place in the timeline. Album 1 is set in medieval Scottland in the Kingdom of Fife in the year 992 with Angus McFife I Album 2 happens 1000 years later in 1992 and takes everything into space with Angus McFife XIII Album 3 plays in the Terrorvortex, some kind of parallel dimension, also with Angus McFife XIII (The year is unknown) Album 4 will be back in time in 1022, so 30 years after the events of Album 1 with Angus McFife II Fly Away fills the gap in the middle. This song tells the story of Angus McFife V inventing the telescope in 1527 and wanting to explore outer space. Also a thing I wanted to add: I think it's funny how long some of their song titels are. And they seem to get longer with every album. A lot of people started to shorten them to things like KotCFoA or HFHoUCF and you have to figure out which one it is xD
