Thanks for uploading the video. Makes the process for creating AVD environments much easier. Can you tell me if there is a way in the provisioning to change the the storage account type. This creates a standard storage account by default. Is there a way of changing it to a premium storage account for the profiles to be stored on?
For the FSLogix Profile containers? It's not possible during initial provisioning if you're using the wizard-based approach. You can manually set up storage and Azure Files or Azure NetApp Files.
You can use Azure AD join with the VMs for SSO. The only reason we didn't use it for this demo (and using the guided quickstart) was because FSLogix profiles currently require AD or ADDS.
AV Redirect and Multimedia Redirect helps solve for this by sending the video feed more directly between endpoints and reducing the number of encoding and decoding steps that would normally happen in the chain.

When I use the url, it shows me the SessionDesktop icon, but on login, remote desktop window opens up with a black screen and then auto closes with error: 0x3000018. Under the VM > Connect, it also says Port prerequisite not met and IP address prerequisite not met. Can I please get some help on this issue? - thanks in advance
It is amazing how such a simple thing can be soo complicated. I did everything you showed. Twice it failed because of Quota for Compute. Got over that. The test account works. But when I try to login with my own business email (Azure admin) I cannot. First, it didn't show me the Session Desktop at all in the app, after I've added some permissions I had to search Google for - it did show, but now it says:Sign in Failed. Please check your username and password and try again:" How do I just give my employee a permission to use it? How do I make him a local admin? How do I, as admin, connect to this AVD.... Please help

Short answer is that for pooled hosts you would use Availability Zones, and intentionally overprovision them so that for example, if 1 of 3 zones goes down, the remaining 2 zones will have the capacity and can accept the traffic from the unavailable zone. For personal/dedicated VMs, you would create replicas for those requiring HA and use Azure Site Recovery to failover to them. These are similar approaches for how you would set up stateless and stateful server VMs running apps for BCDR.

Why do these VMs need to be domain joined, and therefore, ADDS is needed?
Currently, FSLogix profile containers require AD. You can also configure without profile containers using Azure AD join and no local AD or ADDS

I don't have licenses in AVD tenant.
This setup only works when using AD or Azure AD DS as IDPs. If you only want to use AAD as your IDP, quick setup is not an option.
