Update November 21st 2021:
I had the cancer cut out but we're not sure if they got it all yet or not. I start radiation in January.
UPDATE June 2024: I'm still kicking guys, still fighting cancer but now have advanced heart failure. I birthed a little boy and he's 3 years old now. Sorry for the delayed response, I hadn't been getting notifications about responses.
UPDATE October 2024: I BEAT THE CANCER!!!! 😭😭😭 Now if I can just get my heart healed we'll be in a good place. They're saying heart failure us irreversible and they're pretty sure it's the cancer treatments that causes it. But for now we'll celebrate. 💪🏻

My best friend is diagnosed with Cancer and the doctor said that he doesn't have much time, When I listen to this song I remember about all the memories we created.
If you can. spend as much time as you can with him/her. Im saying this because it will help becasue the same happened to my grandpa, and when he died i was devastated. Times can be rough but you have to try to make them better. Hope you can see them before they pass. Im sure you will try and do the right thing. Stay strong.

I came back here for nostalgia, my mom use to bond over this with my grandpa as soon as this song came out. Sadly he passed away and nobody has been the same. February 15th I almost committed suicide the next day walking around the neighborhood trying to clear my head feel down almost lost my leg I spent 1 month in the hospital getting my mental and physical health good during this experience I became very emotionally and got really snappy at the people I loved the most I yelled at my sister my bestfriend over something small after we fought we couldn't be around me for 2 hours my cousin came over saw me and her in different rooms and picked me up put me on her lap she wrapped her arms around me pulling me close to her she kissed my cheek and started repeating all the stuff I said during our fight she knew I knew I needed her and she was always there for me to give me a hug during something bad or to motivate me to do I difficult she was also there to tell me when to quit and to make me tell her my game plan incase there was a bad move I was making when ever me and her did fight it wouldn't be long until we made up and we were friends again

I don’t have a terminal illness or anything but I’ve been battling constant suicidal thoughts since the age of 12 (I’m now 16) and it’s become more and more intense every day, especially now that the pandemic is happening and I’ve recently lost a family member to cancer. Listening to this has just made me realise that any day can be my last and I won’t have enough time to say goodbye to anyone. My heart goes out to anyone who’s passed away, anyone who doesn’t have much time left and anyone who’s been affected by loss. It’s hard but it happens and I hope everyone is okay 💞

this song really hurts for me. In March when corona started my mum was diagnosed with cancer and she was really sick, when she went to the hospital we couldn’t even visit her, the only person who could was her friend who was driving her there and hopefully home so we could only video call her when she was awake, she hadn’t told us that she had anything wrong but I just knew and it hurt so much being quiet. I never had a chance to talk to anyone about it. The time she was in hospital was when I listened to this and it still makes me feel just as sad and the exact same way I felt during those days

thanks for kind comments everyone she made a full recovery. I took care of her for abt 3 months, I set timers to make sure she had all of her different medications, I cooked and did the dishes, the shopping, got myself to school, the fact she stayed is what kept me going. nothing was easy and it taught me to take care of myself and others and that you need to start being grateful and appreciate the time you have with people before it’s too late

I had a cousin named aubree, she died to cancer at a VERY young age, her parents NEVER treated her differently, she was an energetic, kind, funny, little kid. She died WAY to young, never got to get those memories. This song reminds me of her and the pain her family went through. I cant imaging going though something so bad, worse I have ever had is watching my animals die in my house as it burnt to the ground. That pales in comparison compared to what they went through. I love you aubree, I hope I get to see you in heaven 💔
