I love this so much. It’s gorgeous! But you don’t see any of the mirror. So why waste your money on them? Why not just use the cake platters on they’re own? Everything would look the same. Am I wrong? 💝🥰🤗

Hi Susan!! Thank you so much. And that is a great question. So the mirror helps to increase the reflection effect. If you left it out, you would see a little brown cake board showing through in places and it would ruin the look. I know it looks like the vase filler is covering every inch of the surface, but there are tiny gaps that you don't see due to the mirror. It also adds strength. If you glued the ring directly to the card board, the tray wouldn't last very long. Also the reason I use two mirrors, is again for strength but also for esthetics. If you were to sit the tray on top of a reflective surface, instead of seeing an ugly or unfinished bottom, you'd see a mirrored surface. I hope this helps answer your question. Absolutely stunning💎🌹 I'm going to make a couple of these to decorate the Shrine table for the next Empowerment we have at our Buddhist centre. I try to include elegant, glamorous containers for the food offerings we make to the Buddhas and it will save so much of our budget for me to do it myself. Why do you use two different glues together?
Hi there. They are both E 6000 glues. One has a faster hold and one has a stronger hold. But becuse they are made by the same company, they work well together.
