Very bloody and tactically sound fight on both sides. A lot of players, in all TW titles, forget that a city/castle is a 3 dimensional area. Flanking is very possible, whether it is using the walls to outflank, or ending a grind by flanking the blob.
Cavalry would be best saved towards the end of a battle, when the majority of the infantry is engaged in melee and the missiles have come up close to skirmish the choke-point.

The devs have made some very good progress, especially with the unit rosters, but they don't want to release another update until they can propose a campaign mode ...

As always Apollo great video now I think the defenders could have won this but they blew it:
1.the first cav charge they could have take a bit more around the tower to get more momentum and then it would have been deadly
2.the last cav charge why not go around those spear men completely and the you could have brkoen at least one and a half unit of crossboes if not 2
3.at the last stand why not outflank them with some other infatry unit from the side they didn't attack and sorrund them or use your general for some hammer and anvil charge at the back/side if the attackers

Fun (unsubstantiated) fact:
The County of Toulouse (as you pointed out in some previous video) was intimately tied up with the weird Gnostic sect called catharism which flourished in the early Middle Ages. The cross of Toulouse is the occitan cross, which is a holy symbol in catharism.
So okay: catharism is a weird blend of Eastern religious practices and Christianity. The main idea is that good and evil are more or less equally matched forces in the world, struggling for domination. We don't need to get into the rest of their entire theology, but the other key tenant of catharism was that there was a divide between regular practitioners and (here's why I'm writing all of this) the 'perfect.'
The perfect were those who adhered to an even more stringent and demanding form of catharism, which forbade all sorts of stuff like drinking and carousing and such. They were supposed to be the moral guides and leaders of their communities in this great cosmic struggle.

When you see Milites Perfecti -- or Perfecti anything in the Toulouse roster -- you're right to read that as 'Perfect Soldier,' but it's not perfect soldier in the way you may think. These soldier's aren't perfect because they're some kind of military killing machines -- although they are doubtlessly well-trained -- they are perfect because they are the elect of Goodness itself; they are the vanguard in the struggle against the principle of evil, and they fight like it. They're like alt-crusaders.

is there a way to play without the timer because it ruins battles at times and makes it hard to end battles like a last stand or holding out to the very end. if not it sucks they got rid of that.
