Paddy is in a point in his career where he’s finding who he is as a fighter, he’s trynna figure out his style and he ain’t even fought a ranked fighter yet nor has he even been in the scene long enough. About the Georgian-Russian war, one important thing can be added, Ilia's parents and sisters are refugees because of Georgian-Russian war in region Abkhazia in the early 90s, their house was burned, etc. Over the past 30 years there have been about three wars against Russia, today Georgian region Abkhazia is occupied by Russia. So he and his family really had a tough life.
You know the Ilia's family home town?
@fernandez9023 Ilia's family lived in Sukhumi, as i said, they are refugees, BTW, his uncle died in the war, he was a Georgian military. it was genocidal war, they, (russians and pro-russian militants) wiped up the entire Georgian population in Abkhazia, now the region is occupied by Russia. Pretty much the same scenario is happening now in Ukraine.

@@carlosfernandez9023yes, we had already similar situation like Catalonia case, but it end very brutally. They kick out ethnically Georgian from that region and killed brutally thousands of civilians

Here in Spain we are the same biological people, but have different languages because of historical facts that divided a united Kingdom of Spania in different small kingdoms (mainly because of islamic conquest over the cristian hispanic people).
It is amazing how many different people are between Turkey and Russia around the Caucasus.

One small correction, in the clip of his family celebrating in Georgia, that wasn't Ilia's dad it was his granddad, Ilia's dad was in the arena at the event.

I lived in Alicante few years back, went to climent club gym a few times.. i remember this guy.. he had the spine tat but not the chest & arm tats.. one day he was in the cage fighting.. very tough competitive spar with few watching & not many in the gym.. fkin hammering each other.. how many days, months, years of that, .. on his road to the top, think the guy carries himself exceptionally well & i was very happy to see him win in spectacular fashion & his family celebrations ..
When he spoke about his parents separations when he was 8, it was the seprations with his parents and not theseparations of his parents. They left georgia for spain and left him and his brothers with their grand parents, so they were seperated with their parents but dad and mom are still together.
What? This guy is way better and smarter than Connor Cokehead McGregor..
Ilia's confidence is on another level. With that confidence, if keeps winning 4/5 times defending his belt, he has potential to become big superstar of UFC

I loved the ending credits that was class. Well done. I would love to see more of each opponent and the hate comments and more of his impressive shot selection and domination in each fight to really demonstrate how much of a beast this man truly is. Its also so sad to hear American news coverage on Russia's invasion of Georgia with 2000 plus dead when you compare it to the USA funding Israel's genocide, apartheid, and occupation and how they cover that despite 30,000 perished. This was an amazing story of hope, perseverance and glory. Thank you
