Have you ever thought of using a blower type machine like the blowers used in Coober Pedy? With a blower type machine you could vacuum up every speck of gold and you would be taking the machine to the dirt rather than taking the dirt to the machine. Thus lowering or saving mining costs. Furthermore, dozers and loaders will more than likely leave gold behind, where as a Coober Pedy blower type of machine would recover all of the gold. Just thought I'd share the idea with you mate.
Thanks for your input....I have thought of a vac truck that feeds straight onto the blower but I don't think it would work. You only need to go down a few inches and the dirt can become really compacted....which means we are back to a digger/dozer/loader. When we have taken all the dirt we intend to we detect it carefully which should get us anything of a reasonable size...the stuff we leave behind (which everyone does)is usually the stuff that costs too much to get and is not economic. Our business model is simple....get the easy gold and let someone else go broke chasing whats left! I really appreciate your comment.
The Western Australian gold fields I think is the only place in Australia that has actual virgin ground to find gold in. The eastern side of Australia has been gutted for gold,all the GPAs have been thoroughly gutted. The only areas left really worth prospecting are on private properties over here in the east.
Interesting methodology. My thought would be to start just up the top end before it fans out, working your way down from there, thus being able to chase any runs at the start, left or right, otherwise way down the bottom the fan is great so the gold could be anywhere and your guessing where to start… 45 degrees 😢 Might be time for a well deserved break away to the ocean 💥🌈⚒️
We are just sniffing around the edges to start with. If we pick up some signs I will actually cut straight across the area trying to pick up the runs if they exist. Often there are no runs but just widespread gold and you have to go through the lot....time will tell.
The land that you driven over is that all your tenement. You're working area just curiosity from being in the states. Trying to get an idea how big it is
Hi Jesse James....tenement size varies a little. Prospecting Licences are a max of 200ha and Exploration Licences are around 310ha but you can have any number of multiples and so there are no limits. It all comes down to how much you want to pay.
