Hi, this video is so underrated. This solves one of the simplest question at work, what's the difference between a report or dashboard and what are they used for, thank you so much
excellent contribution!, just a general question: - Once I pinned a visual on a dashboard; Does the dashboard visual update automatically when updated in the source report? My main concern is that the dashboard visual remains static and the user has to access the source report to see the updated indicator
The comment at the end finally made it click. If you have multiple pbi reports and want to link them together, a dashboard is the way to go. This is likely the main reason that interactivity is not functional. Otherwise, for a single pbi report, a dashboard is redundant and overkill, and I think why so many people struggle to understand the point. Although, I have heard some say that dashboards are for decision makers who just need information at a glance. Well, if you're that divorced from your organization's data, you don't belong in the C-suite.

I have used slicer on dashboard, is it not kind of interactivity. its date slicer, by changing date range, I can see charts updated.
Awesome 🎉
