Like you mentioned last year I am making dresses for OCC shoeboxes. So rewarding to do something for someone who will never know who did it for them. God bless, Kathy
For October, I need to finish a quilt that I made for my nephew. I also ordered a kit for a crossbody bag that I want to make this month. I also hope to sew up a navy print blouse and start on a bedrunner for my sister. As always so many projects so little time.
I love the fabric you've picked for the seat cover -- It kind of looks like a Rifle Paper Co print! 😁 That will come in very handy. I'm just finishing up the last summer-y garment, I'm thinking....Pietra pants, wider leg. I need to start in on my costume for our community band concert. It's earlier this year - on the 17th, so I need to get going on it. 😉 Have fun with the bowl covers!
Hi Tiffany. I really am looking forward to seeing the McCall's dress and Addy's jumper made up. As usual, you are going to be a busy lady this month. I just finished a "bear" of a bear for my great grandson due next month. It is in the process of being stuffed. I used my son's military rucksack for it. I'm making a hat out of his military pants also. Instead of doing dresses this year, I did pants for boys and delivered them last week. I believe for next year, I will do pants and dresses. I hope you have a great week and get a lot of sewing in.
The bow covers for your friend will be so awesome! Addy's jumper is going to be gorgeous. If the buttons are just for adornment they would like nice. If you have to do buttonholes I'd find another way to put it on. I'm sure it will be adorable however you do it. Happy sewing!!
I'm excited to look for the Simplicity pattern!! I would love to make bowl covers as gifts and my daughter requested an apron for Christmas so this would cover a lot of sewing projects!
Love your pumpkin shirt. I have costumes in the process of being made and thinking I'll start on some PJs for Christmas presents. Happy October Tiffany!!!
The baking bowl fabric is perfect for the theme/job! Looks like an easy win and hope your friend likes them. I think the very fine corduroy is called pinwale or baby cord and that remnant is great! Your top is just right for this time of year - happy official Fall 🍁
Hi Tiffany. My plans for October start with a Tempo Dress from Love Notion. I'm not doing the shirring, I'm using a stretchy fabric instead. I've seen it done, just hoping it works for me. Then I want to make a couple easy white tops to wear with my Susan Swing Shorts. The shorts are really swingy, look like a skirt. Pattern by Rivet Patterns. Then I plan on making some PJ's using double guaze. I need to do all this before Oct. 17 as I leave for Florida on that morning. Wish me luck. Can't wait to see the Jumper for Addie. She's be so cute. The bowl covers will be so cute. If you can, maybe do a sewing tutorial on those. It'd be nice. Your idea for the barstool was what I would have suggested. Thanks for a great video.

Love your plans Tiffany.
Bowl covers are great ideas.
The oil cloth fabric is quite cheap here. You can get it for around 6e a m

Tip: You may want to re-inforce the oil cloth where the snaps go. That fabric can tear after punctured.
